This has been the worst experience of my life! I hired ************************** Quinn from Backyard Dreams, also doing business as Quinn Contracting, to repair my retaining wall, front steps and build a portico. The construction began in May of 2021 and was supposed to only take 2-3 weeks. Total job was $26,400.00. To date, I have paid $20,000. The work was abandoned, leaving my home looking like an abandoned construction site! I have piles of bricks and gravel all over the front of my property. The front steps, which is the main entrance to my home, have been totally demolished leaving us with no access to our door. I have not had use of my driveway for almost 6 months. The driveway and drainage pipe from my gutters were damaged and my entire front lawn was dug up. ***** has managed to string me along for months with the promises of getting the job done. Each day of "promised scheduled time" resulted in a no-show, with no communication of cancellations or attempts to reschedule. I also have not received all of the materials I purchased, which constitutes THEFT! I now have to hire someone else to finish the job and re-purchase the same materials that he failed to supply, which has left me in a huge financial bind!DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY with this man. I can't warn you enough. Should you still decide to use him, make sure he gets necessary permits, your contract has an end date and even include a penalty for each day late going beyond end date.
