A pool liner was installed by Elite pools in April 2022, the light for the pool was not placed in at that time. Several calls were made over a 3-month period and the light was incorrectly installed in July and then again late July where it remains. In August noted we were adding water to pool, first thought to be lack of rain heat, evaporation and use. This is not the case. I notified ***************** (Elite pools) about the concern very late August or perhaps early September. Several attempts were made and I was instructed to contact Patriot leak detection services. A conversation concurred between us about responsibility of payment, which remained unresolved depending on the cause of the leak. They arrived approximately 3 weeks later and I was informed the leak could be a return by the steps. The concrete was then broken and and no leak found to return pipe. They returned at my request felt that it was related to the light. they would be out to repair/epoxy light. This was shared with ******************* who stated " he would repair" he did not. To date several additional attempts were made to have behind the light repaired. Perhaps it may have been completed by Patriot leak detection services. As i write they have not responded. Due to the extent of the amount of water loss the following issue cannot be related to the leak- skimmer, steps, returns and approximately the middle of the light. (At that point I refilled the pool to avoid damages to pool). 12/20 *** was notified by email my intentions. and that I do to inclement and cold weather. for the next few months. I also placed in writing my thoughts on his responsibilities as an installer and his lack of following up. I am at this point asking him to be accountable to ensure the pool liner is repaired satisfactorily and absorb the cost of Patriot Leak detection Services for sum of $560.00 . If he is unable to repair, then he is responsible for the costs associated with a third-party vendor. thank ****************,
