I purchased a 2019 dodge Durango off the lot from Apollo auto sales In ****** ********** may/2022 the car was never looked at before buying it and we were told to just inform them of any issue the car had at the time which I did. The car started off with a miss firing engine a cracked passenger side window and brake pulsation and needed a new rim. They took the car back about a month later and repaired and replaced those issues. But when I got it back the car was still having engine issues. They took it back again and put coils and spark plugs in and that wasnt a fix to the problem. Then they gave me a new motor but it wasnt the correct one and they had to keep it even longer and give me a whole other one. Which during this time Im still paying monthly for a car I didnt have since they had it for so long. And when I did get it back my AC compressor was never recharged and when asked to fix it then tried to make me pay for it. Now my cars transmission is going again and my car is stuttering, car is shutting off on its own while driving. Also my reverse gear is slipping as well. At this point I do not want the car. Its been nothing but problems since I got it and I cant keep losing out on work due to this car. I traded in my 2017 Jeep compass for 16k and I paid 37k for the Durango.

After reviewing ****************** complaint, I checked our records.  He did purchase a 2019 Dodge Durango from our dealership on 7/20/22.  At the time of purchase, ************** was made aware that this vehicle was no longer under factory warranty.  He had an option to purchase an extended service contract, which he declined.  We gave him a 3 month/3,000 mile warranty on the house.  On 8/17/22, we tested a complaint about a misfire and found no issues.  This same day we also replaced the right front window (at no cost).  On 9/6/22, he came back again and we replaced spark plugs, coils and gaskets (again, no cost to him).  On 10/14/22, we replaced cylinder 3, coils and plugs (still no cost to him).  On 10/18/22 we replaced more gaskets, camshafts, rocker arms and intakes (still no cost).  On 11/26/22, we fixed an oil leak.  This was after his warranty expired and we still didn't charge him for any repairs.  On 11/30/22, still at no cost to the customer, we replaced filter housing and radiator hoses.  On 1/25/23, we replaced his engine for $4,538.12.  This was months after his warranty expired and we still didn't charge him.  On 4/19/23, we started to look at his AC issues, but he had to leave for a doctor's *********** well before we could finish looking at the vehicle.  On 7/5/23, we recharged his AC system.  Again, at no cost to him.  He stated on 7/5/23 that he was having his transmission replaced by ******

In conclusion, we have went above and beyond for ***************  We have accommodated all of his requests and have not made him pay out of pocket for anything, despite the fact that the 3month/3,000 mile warranty we gave him is well beyond expired.  We have spent close to $7,000.00 to repair his pre-owned vehicle when we didn't have to.  At this point, we would recommend ************** purchasing and extended service contract (like the one that was offered when he made his purchase that he declined).  This would help with any issues the vehicle may have going forward.

I purchased the car in July 2022 the car has trans clutch problems, unbeknownst to me until this year of March 2023. When I first initially took the car back to the dealership for them to fix the problem, they told me I needed a part the trans module. My car was not under my care for seven whole months when the service provider called me to tell me my car was finally ready, she told me your car is ready. We need the loaner back ASAP because we have to sell the loaner. I brought the car back in a timely manner but my car still had the same problems, the shaking and the noise I brought it back again telling them its the same problem, shaking in the noise , they had in my car for a week then told me its done and its ready for pick up the same day I got the car back it was still doing the same shaky noise I was told by the sales general manager to take it to the **** dealership near me And they will pay for the problem so I took it to the **** dealership as I was told the **** dealership told me its a trans clutch when I went to tell Apollo dealership they told me I have to pay for it

      Good afternoon,

Please find our response to claim ******** below.

**************** did purchase a 2016 **** Focus from our dealership on 7/2/22.  At the time of her purchase, she purchased an extended warranty that was good for 24 months or ****** miles.  She brought her car to ** on February 16, 2023.  At no cost to her, we replaced the trans module.  Since that didn't fix her problem, we told her to go to a local **** dealer.  On March 6, 2023, she did take the vehicle to Holman ****.  Their invoice number was 488357.  The total was $252.00, which Apollo paid for.  Also noted, ********************* could not verify her concern about the trans slipping problem she reported.  **************** has an extended warranty that she can use for repairs and all she would have to pay is her deductible.  Since we couldn't address her concerns, and the **** dealer couldn't address her concerns, I would highly recommend she utilize the extended warranty she paid for whether that be utilized at Apollo or elsewhere.

Please let me know if you need anything additional.

Bought a car (2018 ***** Malibu) in April 2022. The shifter was getting stuck so I called Apollo on Saturday 12/31/22. A gentleman gave me an appt for Monday 1/2/23. He told me the car was under a 1yr warranty. I took the car and after it being diagnosed I was told the car didnt have a warranty. I argentines to call them to follow up on this and they put me on hold twice for over 10 mins then when asked to speak to a manager, the manager kept undermining me and hung up the phone. I was disconnected a total of 3 times with no answers and a messed up vehicle. I only had the car for 9 months. Very bad business and robbing people of their money. This place needs to be investigated.

      Good afternoon,

In response to claim #********, our position is as follows:

************************** purchased a 2018 Chevrolet Malibu from our dealership on 4/15/22.  At the time of purchase, the factory warranty was expired based on mileage (55,202).  We give a three month/3,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty on every vehicle we sell as a courtesy to all of our customers.  **************************, at the time of the sale, had an opportunity to purchase an extended warranty, which he declined (signed form dated 4/15/22 6:32:27pm).  Unfortunately, by the time ************************** called to have any issue looked at, it was over five months past the expiration date of the free warranty we offer (expired on 7/15/22).

Please let me know if you need anything additional.

I immediately contacted the dealership talking to ******************* the finance manager he immediately called me and my wife a liar that his guy was the number one sales person and didnt believe me! The next day he starts texting me telling me to bring the truck back when asked about my vehicles I traded in he said they sold themI returned the truck and then he started playing games with the bank by not paying them until after the first payment was due now I have a late payment on my credit because these guys at Apollo thought it was funny by not sending the check to the bank! I have lost so much in this deal I think they need to be investigated immediately for fraud and theft!!!! I will never do business with them again

***** ripped me off while smiling at me asking 'did you read our reviews' as if previous good reviews means I'm being treated fairly. The sales price was supposed to be $39,999 but the paperwork ***** SIGNED FOR ME (electronically of course), without going over it with me, increased the price by $10,000.
