Twice I ordered and prepaid a gift from ****** *** ***** to be sent to an out of state recipient. The gift was never received the first time so I reordered and the next delivery was damaged. A vehicle ran over it. I have contacted ****** *** directly with no satisfaction. I have been billed for the gift that was never received. ****** *** Headquarters said they were not liable for it!Business response

To the Better Business Bureau of NJ,
This response relates to a letter we did not receive from your office until early September as the mailing address did not reflect the location of our NJ headquarters. This has been rectified in our records.
We have looked into our records and the only order we have from the consumer was placed on April 20, 2024. The order that Ms. ***** placed was for $24.98, however, the credit card that she used would not pre-authorize after she placed the order. As a result, the order was cancelled by our third party payment system (************) and she was never charged. The product that she intended to buy was one of our St. Jude boxes of chocolates and she intended to send it to a friend in ******** However, since the order was not processed due to the failed credit card authorization, the individual would not have received anything from our ****** May business.
We do not have any record of the consumer reordering the item and, as stated above, we have not charged the consumer at all. If the consumer has a copy of her credit card bill that reflects a ****** May charge in April or May 2024, I would be happy to review it and contact our business team regarding the fulfillment. Otherwise, we consider this matter closed.

On April 9th, i received ******************* Birthday celebration pack as a part of giveaway contest i won. I immediately noticed that the pack has a expiry date of May 2023 which is less than 20days itself. They gave away a product as a part of promotion which is about to expire. This is serious health issue which i pointed out to ferrero team but to my surprise i haven't got any desirable explanation on the same. I was surprise to see how lightly they took this matter into consideration. I would like BBB to help me reach out to Ferrero team to seek apology and corrective action
