Either Monday Or this past Tuesday. The person on the other side of me had their house shot up and my house was shot up in the process for the fourth time. Now I have a patio window that is shot out and it is half boarded up, and my apartment is riddled with bullets. I am a 74 year old woman and I do not feel safe where I live. I have informed the landlord of this and they have informed me that they have to go through a process. This last time someone got shot at the neighbor house. This happened on 09/05/2023. We have contacted the police regarding this issue and the police stated that the landlord has to do something about this. I would like for the owner to get in contact with me to look at my apartment to see the bullet holes and the my shot out window.Initial Complaint

I live in A newly acquired property of this company in ***** ******** and I have hated every moment. I dont know how to work the online portal and the office employee (ONE EMPLOYEE) has been zero help in setting up my account, so I have to get a cashiers or money order every month. Its been absolute terror getting touch with someone at the office because let me add there is only ONE OFFICE WOMAN who is rude. Before this company took over I could place an after hour service complaint in case of emergencies, no I am here with a broken AC and no way to get into contact with emergency maintenance it is really frustrating because I have children that stay with me and it was a 97 day today. On top of that they require renters insurance and increase rent for a lesser quality of service. I have grown to really dislike living in Westgate Manor. I need help. I paid almost $1,400 to ************************** on 1/7. This was for the deposit and first months rent to secure a unit. I was suppose to move into a unit on 2/11. I received a call from them a week prior and was told they can no longer rent the unit to me. As of 4/11, I have yet to receive my refund and have been getting the run around this entire time.Initial Complaint

I moved out of my apartment on July 12,2021, the lease was up on July 31, 2021. My rent was paid and current. I went into the office to turn in my apartment key and mailbox key on July 12 when I left the premises. I also gave them my forwarding address for the refund of my deposit. I have a photocopy of the writing on the envelope that the keys were put in. It has been 3 weeks since I left & I have not received my deposit back nor have I received any type of letter. When I try to call this number ************, the call would not go through. The message that played said: "Your call can not be connect at this time. Please try again later." Then it hangs up. It doesn't matter what time of day you call, you receive the same message. I also tried to go on their website. Up until today, I could not get on their website. It would say "this domain is unavailable."I need help recovering my deposit or at least an explanation of why we are not receiving it.Thank you ***** SteelBusiness response

****** no longer manages **************************. The communities ownership and new management company ****** in control of all security deposits and their refunds. Please contact them directly for further information.

I'm responding to a complaint made on 9/14/21 by ***** Steal. This issue is resolved between EVU Residential and ***** Steel. A check was made out to her on 10/6/21 for the full amount she was owed and ***** can attest to that.
