I made a reservation to bring our German ******** to this facility for a $65/night for a week total $520 8/11th -8/19th 2024 due an important family business out of Country. Prior to boarding, my husband and i took our dog name's ****** to the facility to be familiar with the new environment. The facility had more space, and we felt ****** would be more comfortable compared to prior daycare he had been. ****** played and administered treats by the *********** taker and ****** displayed no aggressive behavior which he had never been before unless if he is being approached aggressively. On August 11th early morning we brought ****** to the daycare facility for his boarding so we could go to the airport for our departure, and we met with the owner ******. We gave her information that she requested, extra food and toys for ****** given to her then she took ****** inside. A few hours later while we were on the airplane, the owner called us to come to pick up the dog because ****** attempted to bite his staff. We told her how to handle ****** in a non aggressive approach and since he is in a new environment and that can stress him out. We called the facility the next morning and we told ****** was doing fine.On 8/19th at around 12:45pm i went to pick up my dog and the door was locked. I called the facility and a woman brought my dog to the front door on a ***** to me.****** appeared very frightening and scared, he quickly jumped on me. I felt something was wrong. ****** was limping when I looked further, and discovered injured wounds around his neck. We took ****** to his Vet twice to have his health and vaccinations updated right prior to his boarding, and he was in good health and his skin was intact. I asked the woman "what had happened to my dog" and she Stated "I don't know" she called the business owner. She replied "it must be a hot spot" I wish i could show this horrific photos of my dog This is sickening, heartless and beyond inhumane of an animal cruelty .
