***, the owner of Mountainview Roofing personally did our new roof about 10 years ago.Shingles are falling off now due to faulty installation of the underlying plywood not being properly secured upon installation. This summer, the underlying plywood warped and created a number of bulging areas as seen on the surface of the roof (temperatures are cooler now so not as obvious. Problem will come back next summer but damage has already been done). This bulging of the roofing surface caused the nails to come out and shingles to become loose and detached from roof.We had another experienced roofer come by to evaluate and he said it was due to improper nails used and improper installation of the underlying plywood. He didn't want to do the work as it was something he felt the original roofer should take care of, and is responsible for.I contacted and showed *** the roof problem a couple months ago when the heat induced roof bulging was still showing, and he verbally committed to coming back to fix the problem areas. Now, months have passed with no action. It's a fix that should take ***** minutes to complete in my estimation and he has shown no genuine intention of coming back to take care of the problem after many leaving many messages (there is only one number to reach Mountainview Roofing and it's ***'s cell phone).Business response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.***, the owner of Mountainview Roofing came by and worked to repair the problem area.
The repair made to fix the improperly secured underlying plywood will not be truly tested until next summer when the roof is under summer heat, but I am hopeful that this problem is resolved.

Mountainview Roofing was contracted to replace the roof at my residence. Deposit was paid in cash and balance due was via check. Shortly after the work was complete, I had reached out to the owner, *************************, for a receipt to submit to my insurance company. After leaving many voicemails and txt messages, I eventually heard back but have yet to receive a receipt for the services provided. This is a simple request, but all attempts to obtain directly from contractor have been unsuccessful and largely ignored. Ive been pleased with the work otherwise and dont necessarily want to revert to social media to talk negatively about my experience. Would appreciate your assistance to resolve this concern.
