I went to buy a car and was told that all purchases had to be done through a loan - I could not buy the car in cash.Business response

I spoke with the parties involved in the transaction (*** and ***) The customer was never told that they could not pay cash for the vehicle. We tell our customers that due to limited inventory and the fact that we are not charging over sticker, we are prioritizing our customers that finance. The customer agreed to finance the vehicle and put a sizable amount down on the loan. *** in finance went over the truth in lending section of the loan agreement and explained to the customer that it IS a simple interest loan and that he may pay it off as quickly as he would like.That still stands true today. Customer may simply call the bank and pay off his loan in its entirety.
