My husband and I have noticed damage to our fence due to the landscapers. 4 rails have been damaged and both hinges on the gate broken. The landscapers are the only people who access the gate with their ride on mower on that side of our house. My husband left a bungi cord on the gate so when they open the gate and ride the mower thru, the bungi cord will hold the gate open for easy access to the yard. Instead of doing that they open the gate and push thru with the mower which pushes the gate beyond it's capacity which has broken both hinges. We had Anchor Fence prepare the estimate, which is the company that installed the fence. There are 4 rails damaged. One rail on the opposite side of the house is deer damage. The other 3 rails are next to the gate that has been damaged. Anchor Fence explained that the damage on the three rails are not due to a deer, more like a mower hitting the rail. One of the rails is completely cut thru and two rails are bent low to the ground. We explained and showed the estimate to one of the landscapers (who is the son) and he was going to pass the estimate to his Father. The cost of the damage is $550.00. We took $100.00 off for the damage to one rail caused by a deer. Cost for damage to fence $450.00. Since we spoke to the landscaper/son not only did we not heard from P ******** Landscapes regarding the damage they have discontinued our lawn service without notification.Business response

We did not do this damage my men tell me every week there is deer in the back yard the yard is loaded with deer f**** all over the yard getting on my machines as well as my men there constantly jumping over the fence and have come close to hitting my men they did the damage as I told the owner of house last year by the gate area when my man entered gate last year the deer hit my mower going through gate as when it was opened and did damage to my mower luckily my son wasnt injured the fence they have is some cheap metal fence probably made in ***** its cheaply made soft metal anyway where is the video and pictures of my men hitting fence behind bushes where mower doesnt go once again deer are in this back yard daily we did a big planting job for these people I had asked are there pipes in the ground and they said no so we dug the holes to install plants yes we hit a pipe told them as we asked previous where not responsible they again a few years ago deducted pipe damage from **** so once again we had enough of these people taking advantage of us for a $35 dollar cut taking advantage of us where done with them take care find someone else to use and abuse they did it to the previous landscaper as well we were told

I am rejecting this response because:
The owner **** is lying big time. There are never deer on my property when the landscapers are here. The noise alone from the mowers alone would keep them away. His son **** is a very nice young man and would definitely let us know if a deer almost hit his mower or came close to causing him physical harm. This statement alone is ridiculous as deer are almost never in the area during the daytime. As to the nature of my fence, it was purchased thru Anchor Fence a few years ago and cost $4,800. So agin he is lying that it was probably a cheap fence. This is not the first time we have had problems with this company. He has another son who works for his company who is not so good at his job. About 2 years ago he was using the edger and sliced thru the water line for our sprinkler system. Another incident was when we had Harvest Lawn who does our lawn chemicals on our property and **** (P G & Sons Landscaping) came onto my property yelling at the men working for me because he was told we had to skip lawn service for one week due to the chemicals being applied. He had no right to come on my property and yell at the men working on my lawn. Just goes to show you the type of person he is.
