      I currently have ******** hearing aids that are in need of an upgrade due to my hearing worsening. I researched the popular brands, and wanted to try Miracle Ear product. On February 25, 2022 I had an appointment with Miracle ear in **********, **. After my free hearing test, the rep explained the degree of my hearing loss, and showed me 3 different models compatible with my hearing loss. I chose the lesser cost model for $5745. I returned on March 1st to pick up the devices. I had gone over all the information on the Miracle Ear main website, so I signed the contract, put the hearing aids in, and left to go home. These are the type where the entire device is inserted in the ear. Nothing outside the ear to interfere with my eyeglasses or wearing a mask. On the ride home I noticed my hearing didn't seem as good as when I first tried them on. The hearing aids had backed out of my ears, so I pushed them back in, and my hearing was better, but there was a fairly loud whistling noise every time I pushed them back in. At home I noticed that when watching TV, my hearing aids were picking up loud background noise. The aids also continued to back out and the whistling continued to a point where my wife could hear it a room away. This repositioning of the hearing aids continued for a few times every hour. I kept wearing the devices for the next 5 days, even though the annoyances continued. Finally on the 6th day, I was no longer comfortable wearing them and went back to my ******** devices. I also felt there was no improvement over my ******** devices. I made the decision to return them. The Miracle Ear website stated I had a 30 day trial, I was returning them just 9 days from receiving them. They also stated on returning them, I could be subject to a "fitting charge", no amount specified. My devices were returned as new, just 9 days old, so I hope you can understand why I was utterly shocked when they deducted 15% of the sale price. $889. No such mention on the main website
