This issue is regarding insurance money that was awarded to me as penalties and underpayment from my insurance company from a Hurricane *** claim. All repairs have been completed on my home except patio cover due to materials not being in stock at this time. I have spoken with the loss draft department several different times regarding this matter. Each representative advised me differently. One of the reps told me to write a letter of intent so I could have the remaining $8600 applied to my balance (not principal balance.) So I wrote the letter and followed up a few days later (the week of 1/23/23.) I was then told by the other rep that that isn't possible. However, she did advise that once a house has all the structural repairs complete and has reaches 75% completion, the remaining funds can be returned to me. I was advised that my last inspection indicated that I was at 76%. However, they are refusing to apply them to loan balance due or return them to me. This is the second time I am having issues with them holding funds they aren't entitled to. I have recently been diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease which caused a decrease in income due to having to undergo dialysis treatment multiple times a week. I have been working with their loss mitigation department on a modification.

On May 2nd 2022, Oceanside mortgage company made an ACH transaction withdrawal from my checking account in the amount of ******. This was not authorized transaction. Their team has routinely misplaced and flat out disregarded pertinent information to my mortgage situation. I am sending this complaint to resolved the unapproved billing to my account and to warn others to not use Oceanside Mortgage Company for their mortgage servicing needs.
