I have found that attention to detail and customer care slipping at ********************. The egregious behavior of the American Dental Center's business office is deeply disappointing. I was encouraged to apply for Care Credit to pay for a dental procedure. I paid for the procedure as agreed upon by the manager of the business office and my acceptance by Care Credit. I began paying immediately, and paid the bill in full via Care Credit. Now, American Dental says that I owe them $1856.20. I asked for clarification, I had my insurance dental plan call the American Dental Center and asked my dental insurance plan to contact the American Dental Center's business office. To date, the American Dental Center has yet to return the phone call to my dental insurance plan, and although I paid the bill for the first part of a four part dental procedure, American Dental claims that I owe them for the work that hasn't been done yet. I am deeply disappointed by their nefarious business practices. I will no longer use this dental office. Since then, my insurance company attempted to contact American Dental Center, who never responded to their calls. They did call me after I told them that my insurance company told me that the American Dental Center could not legally withhold my medical records from me even if there were a dispute regarding funds owed by me. After that disclosure, American Dental Center gave me my dental records and a document stating that all bills were paid in full. Saddly, the care has diminished and the grab for money has exponentially increasedat American Dental Center.

At American Dental Center we take your concerns seriously and we thank you for continuing to bring your concerns to our attention. We have removed any services and charges for the treatment doctor had thought you wanted to move forward with. We do know that our ***************** system can be a bit misleading as we have expressed that to them previously as this is not something we can change in the office.
