Order number: NJB712311 On 11/18/23, I placed an online order (**********************************) at 7:36am EST for same day flower delivery, which their website indicates will happen if you place your order before 11am EST and pay an additional $24.99. Ive been charged for the order, received a shipping notice, but the flowers have never arrived. I emailed ******************************* the business on 11/18/23 and have called ***************) twice and left one message (11/19/23), but no response has been received. Their phone number goes to an automated message saying everyone is busy and to leave a message. The charge on my card has a completely different business website (**************************************) and phone number (**************). I tried calling that number and it rings with no answer. This appears to be a scam business.Business response

This business delivered flowers and two bottles of wine to me. This was a 50th birthday present from my boss. The flowers were not delivered to me- the damaged box was left on the outside of the apartment building. There was no label or notification on the box that there were perishable items inside (flowers and wine). I contacted the company multiple times by phone and left messages, with no response. I emailed, and was told it was *************** fault for not calling me to make sure I had received my surprise gift.Initial Complaint

I paid NY Blooms $135.75 for Floral Sunrise Mixed Bouquet on newyorkblooms.com. Order No. NYB717957 on June 07, 2023. They were supposed to be delivered on her birthday June 8.Although they claim they got delivered, when I asked to confirmed with my friend who's birthday I ordered them for that no flowers were delivered and that she was home all day and no one rang the door bell, called nor texted her and she did not receive them, I not only called NY Blooms but also the vendor they use to make the delivery and showed the "delivered" picture, what I actually saw and what my friend confirmed was that they lazy delivery person put the box of flowers in front of the janitors basement door. Why the delivery person thought that was an appropriate place is beyond me.Instead of helping resolve this issue NY Blooms immediately let me know no refund was available. How can they justify that? I specifically paid them to deliver flowers and they did not deliver on that service. The utter lack of any responsibility or willingness to help is not only a complete scam of my hard earned money but is ridiculous & shameful.This is why I am submitting this complaint.Business response

Thank you for bringing to our attention the complaint filed by one of our customers regarding their order delivery. We would like to clarify that the order in question was delivered on June 8th, as supported by the tracking information.
We would like to emphasize that we informed the customer of the delivery status of their order via several e-mails exchanged between June 7th and June 9th. We provided them with the tracking information that confirmed the delivery, and we have no reason to believe that the package was not delivered as indicated: *******************************************************************************

However, we would like to clarify that we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages that have been delivered in accordance with the tracking information. I placed an order for a bouquet of flowers and champagne for same day delivery on May 13th and it is now May 17th with no update from the company on if or when this will be delivered and the tracking information hasn't changed since placing the order. I have tried calling the company line numerous times for them to only say repeatedly "all lines are busy and we will call back" which they obviously haven't called back. I have sent them an email today requesting a refund and still haven't heard back yet. I wish I had done research prior to ordering because it looks like the company is a scam.Initial Complaint

I placed an order for flowers and champagne to deliver to a patient in the hospital and chose same-day delivery on 12/19. After two days of the order not being delivered, I requested to cancel it on 12/21 as the patient was no longer in the hospital and they do not deliver to the patient's hometown. Customer service claimed the order had already been shipped EARLY to avoid delays during a busy season and that they could no longer cancel it; however, I did not receive a shipping notification until 12/31 (two days after requesting cancellation) with an expected delivery of 12/26 -- a full week after it was supposed to be delivered. They refuse to refund my order or acknowledge the delay on their behalf. Calls to every extension on their 1-800 number claim they are too busy to pick up. Unfortunately, I checked Google and Yelp reviews after placing the order and every single review is a one-star negative review that this company is a scam. The order will arrive extremely delayed or not at all and if it does arrive, will not be anything close to what was advertised online.Initial Complaint

Attempted to order a gift to send to a friend on Blooms CT. The website said the transaction wouldn't go through, so I gave up and did not complete my order. Not long after I received a text from PayPal that I had a charge- I had been charged twice! Only after my PayPal charge from "The Gift Group" was I able to see all the horrible reviews for this fraudulent company. Over 80 reviews with complaints for bad business practices. From the reviews it looks like they used to operate as Hazletons. Now they are "Blooms CT". I can only hope that my gift is not actually delivered since all the delivered products are horrendous and it would be embarrassing to send my friend a wedding gift that is the quality that "the gift group' sends. I had no way of knowing since Blooms CT isnt listed as the gift group The phone number on CT Blooms is fake. I contacted the online customer service and they said they could not cancel my order - even though it charged duplicate charges for the same order.Initial Complaint

On December 22, I ordered flower delivery for a funeral on Dec 23. New Jersey blooms promised next business day delivery, which is why I ordered from them. A week past and no flowers were delivered. I reached out to customer service and asked for a refund at this point since the funeral had already passed. The customer service team blew me off and refused to refund me. Blaming Covid and essentially said the flowers will arrive when they arrive and there was nothing they would do about it. I continued fighting with them, and on Jan 3, they finally arrived2 full weeks after they were supposed to arrive. Not only were the flowers in horrible condition, but the note they were supposed to include was not included. I have talked to several members of the customer service team, as well as reached out to them on social media. They have been incredibly rude and disrespectful, and refuse to refund me for the service I ordered and they did not deliver on. This is horrible business practice, and they essentially stole my money and made a horrible tragic situation of a funeral even more upsetting.Initial Complaint

I ordered flowers for a friend while in *************. I secured an arrangement from New York Blooms and requested same day. They did not send the bouquet and told me via email that it would be delivered by Tuesday the 15th of September. I orderd on the 10th. They never answer their phone and the message directs you to leave a message and it just hangs up. They said it finally was delivered to a mail room at *****************************. There is no mail room .Both the concierge and I have been trying to locate the arrangement and there is not record of delivery and the company refuses to resend it or replace it. They still do not answer the phone and the email messages accept no fault , or offers any apology or repair. This place is a scam.Please check with the Ritz, there was no signed delivery despite what the company says. THIS IS A SCAM probably to steal my card information
