I was seen at overlook-union campus ** on 6/12/2022. Provider *************** was the doctor in the ** that night. He evaluated me and sent me on my way. Aetna, my health insurance received a bill from the ** which they paid out and I paid my ****** copayment. Then almost a year later I got a bill in the mail from union emergency medical assoc. LLC billing me ******** from the same date of service. I had originally though the bill was fake, until I contacted my health insurance *****, who told me they submitted two claims one ***** & another for 1,192-which both were getting denied because they needed more information from the provider to be able to pay out. I contacted union emergency medical assoc. LLC, who told me the only outstanding bill was ***** and they have not received anything from ***** asking for more information. I took it upon myself and uploaded the requested information to *****. However, ***** is still trying to contact the provider to obtain more information. I continue to receive bills from the union emergency medical assoc. LLC and now potentially being put into collections for this bill. I NEVER knew being billed separately from the ** was even something the provider could do. After looking at my other EOB's from the same facility other visits have been paid out but this one from union emergency medical assoc. LLC. I am very frustrated with this company and would like this bill figured out.
