      On August 13th at live Auction with Key Date Coins, I won bidding for multiple items totaling $1088.45. Their system claims that we are to receive a tracking number between 5 to 7 days, it is now September 3rd, I still have no tracking number, and of course, also do not have the items I have purchased.I have called customer support multiple times searching for a tracking number, and have not been provided one.I have called their shipping department multiple times searching for a tracking number, and have not been provided one.Not a single person has been able to provide it to me, or give me an accurate estimate of when it was to ship.I was told it would be shipped within the week of the first few times I called.Then told it would be shipped by the end of day on another time I called.And in none of those weeks or end of days did I receive a tracking number showing they had actually shipped my ******** accept a payment for a product or service and then not provide that product or service is illegal. I would like to know why and how exactly this business is still allowed to operate with the number of similar complaints, and other complaints stating they have never received their orders and/or receiving items that were not as advertised. That is theft. The only resolve to this issue I will accept is a tracking number for my order, receiving my items, and having all of said items be exactly as advertised during the auction.This business either needs to be reprimanded for their lack of providing services and products that they have been paid to provide - or be legally required to shut down for theft of product and services, as well as false advertisement.

      I sent coins to Key date Coin to auction for me and pay me the sales price. I have been paid for all but three, which totals just under $2600.00. These were sold over 9 months ago. Emails and phone calls go unanswered for the last 30 days. I'm just looking to a final payment which they have acknowledged they owe me. I uploaded the coins in question below

      I won lot # **** 1864 3rd series confederate Thirty Dollar note from KDC auction and I haven't been able to pay for invoice. It says to view invoice and when I try to, it just goes round and round. It doesn't go to pay Invoice. I've tried many times to pay Invoice and I still can't . Something wrong with system, their seems to be a glitch problem with the payment system. I can't get KDC , and would like to pay for the item. I've read alot of complaints on your website, I haven't had any bad experience with doing business with KDC ,and am satisfied with thier service. Thanks for any help you can provide to me to resolve this late payment.

      I purchased lots of coins on May 2, 2024, this company billed me on May 4th. I do not have a receipt emailed to me nor can they find my items and I just called them. This business is a scam!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want my money back. Their reviews on this site and others is overwhelming! They obviously are not a good company. People have said they dont get their coins and/or when they do they are not real. I will fight this 100 percent until I get my money back! I will not let this go...I will file criminal charges if I have to. Just refund my money NOW! I cant afford to lose 523.00 for nothing. I just want my money back and I will go on with my life. This company should be banned from selling coins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

      I bid on and won two auction lots.#**** on 2-24-2023 and #**** on 3-5-2023. Since then, they have repeatedly told me that the money would be refunded, but never have followed through.

      I am rejecting this response because:

      My case with Key Date Coins still has not been resolved.

       

      On April 26 the owner *********************** called me and said that my money in the amount of $ ******** would be refunded to me.

      I then received an email from *********************** requesting my bank account information, which I provided. ************** them sent another email stating that my money would be refunded in about two weeks.

       

      This is why I did not follow up on my complaint with the BBB within ten days.

       

      It has now been 5-1/2 weeks.

       

      I sent ************** another message on May 21st, but received no response.

      This is the same stonewalling that I have experienced from them since they took my money and provided nothing in return.

      I visited an auction called Hibid.com looking for currencies to bid on on April 15, 2024 and I thought I saw the currency that I wanted to bid on being auctioned at an unbelievable price, with only about an hour left before the closing, I bidded $20.00 on a 2008 100T Zimbabwe note. But, as i looked closer at the note, I noticed that it was a "silver" foil note that can be purchased anywhere for $3 so I contacted the autioneer or someone and told them that I didn't want that item, instead I bidded on another note that appeared to be a regular note, only to look closer and discovered that it was "gold" foil note and not a regular paper currency note. So, again I emailed someone to ask questions and informed them that I wasn't interested in foil currencies. About an hour later, I logged in and saw a message say, "You may have won this Item, price not realized." I immediately deleted my payment methods but was charged on my debit card two days later for $64.15. I call KEY DATE COINS (148 Route73 **************************************************************** *************) and explained that I did was an error on my part and that I did not want the items. I never received an invoice or a request for my address so I assumed that everything would be OK and that I would receive a refund as I was told by someone in the office.I did not receive a refund on the day that it was supposed to be refunded to my account and today I'm still waiting. Please contact them and help me get my money back. After reading all of the complaints on the internet about this company, I realiaze I may not receive my money without intervention.

      I won items at an auction through high bid from this company. And they have refused to send me my coins. Or answer the phone or answer any calls or issue A. Refund of the eighty three dollars that they charge me.

      Won uncirculated rolls of ****** dollars, 1885,1889, with cc ends. Stated they are from a vault hoard. And they state that consignor will get paid Friday then kdc will pick up coins on Monday and take pics of more rolls for that weeks auction. First red flag all pics are all the same on every auction platform. When I received my coins only 2 cc out of 40 coins a lot common date ,and ones that have been clean. If this is a true vault hoard there is no way there is going to be that many rolls with exact same date fronts and a cc on ends. And why does it take so long to ship over 2 weeks, if you're picking up on Monday they should go right to shipping. No what their doing is taking back to their office removing all key date ones putting in a bunch they have laying around put them in old wrappers they have them mailing to customers. If you look at their other auctions they have a bunch of high end ******** all of sudden that they haven't had in any of their previous auctions. They are mis leading and scamming the public, and getting away with it something needs to be done, they shouldn't be allowed to conduct business in the US after doing time for fraud, here they are doing it again taking money from hard working people. The auction was in January Feb long island vault hoard. If it's a true vault should be able to prove that what consignee is handing company is what is being mailed which I know they are not, that's why it's taking so long to mail.lets stop these scam artist.

      Hi ******,

      We spoke on the phone a few days ago and you had never mentioned any concern.  I would have been happy to address any concerns that you had.  We have different consignees at different points in time so the auction will always look different week to week. The CC Rolls are from a separate consignment, they have no relation to the Long Island Vault, nor do they claim to. The ones in the vault have covered ends.  We say in our terms and on the Long Island rolls our pick up time/ship times so that people understand the delay before they purchase.  The time it takes to ship the Long Island rolls is separate from our regular shipping and handling, which we state takes 5-7 business days in our terms and conditions.  We are a small company with auctions everyday.  It takes time for us to process every order, **** them paid, pull the lots, get them to shipping, and then get them out.  We absolutely do not open the rolls from the consignee.  Please call me and I will be happy to discuss with you.

      My property and my money are being held hostage. I consigned 38 coins with KDC in Aug 2023. They put my coins up for auction and notified me that 9 of them did not sell. I asked them to return them, I took them 2 months and many emails to receive my property back. I was told that the remaining 29 coins had sold and I would get paid in 30 days. That was in Aug 2023. I emailed in Oct 2023 to ask what the status of my payment was, I was told the coins sold but they didnt get paid for them yet. I asked for them to return my coins, since the buyer broke the contract of not paying within 10 days. I have yet to receive my property or remaining payment of $23,619.39 ************ is clearly dishonest. They have ghosted me since November 10th 2023. KDC terms are seller gets paid within 30 days.

      Through a live auction online I won and purchased several coins. Some being high grades that is hard to find. I won coins on 2 separate auctions through this company on two separate dates. Although my card was charged they never sent me a tracking number and never sent my coins. After months of trying to reach them by phone and email with absolutely no call or email back I called the bidding platform hibid. They have tried reaching out to them as well with no luck other than a verification they saw and read the email sent. I believe this company has scammed me from my coins and after reading reviews have done it to many other people.
