They showed up at my home without an appointment. We had no idea who called them to do our leak repair, whether it was our insurance company or the water mitigation company that the insurance hired to mitigate the leak. In any event, these two guys show up in my driveway in a marked van labeled as a Prestige Pro. I told them we didnt hire them. So they said the neighbors called them which we later found out was a lie. They came back when the mitigation team showed up. They said it wasnt them who hired them. Anyway, the mitigation team assumed it was the insurance company and we unknowingly let them in because insurance wasnt answering our calls. They came in to repair one elbow piece and tried charging us $900. The mitigation team told them to let them talk to their boss. They spoke and in two seconds the price was down to $700. We thought awesome! But that is not what it was. Within a week the so-called repair started leaking water again. We called Prestige Pro and they said theyd call me back. They had no record of who I was or that they were at my house. I never got a call. I tried again today and went straight to voicemail. We had to put a stop payment on our check because they are not answering now and now we think they scammed us. *Leak is still happening.
