On 4/12/2024 *************************, my father, had an appointment for his eye exam. He doesn't speak English very well and he is currently on ******** and ********* He paid the $10.00 fee for his **pay and they charged him another $50.00 for a piece of paper with his prescription. They are saying he signed the form where he would pay the $50.00 My father didn't understand what he was signing and if someone sitting behind the desk would clarify that this place likes to charge an additional $50.00 for the visit he would not go through it. In addition, why would they tell me the $50.00 **vers the "work the Dr. did" so what does the ** pay **ver??? I have never heard of a business that charges for ** pay to see the Dr. but additionally charges an extra $50.00 for the exact same thing. This is called a legal fraud. Shame on them for taking advantage of the elderly. SHAME ON THEM. I want my father to be refunded the $50.00 and they can take back the piece of paper with his eye prescription. In addition, this is how i know they are lying, because when i first called they told me the $50.00 is for the eye prescription form he signed. The se**nd time they called me back, after speaking with the DR. they said it was the time the dr. took for the visit. No this is clearly you charging people twice and getting away with it. Not that many people understand what they are signing, especially at the older age and the fact that they are there because they CAN'T SEE.
