They lied to me about being in network and charged me an extreme amount in network fees. Haven't been in network since 2017.Business response

To Whom It May ******** This letter is in response to **************** complaint. *********** was referred to me for advanced periodontal disease. He was examined and a treatment plan was proposed with fees and presented to him in which he signed/dated. My office only participates with Delta Dental and no one in my office ever told him we participate with his plan (BCBS). We submitted for a pre-determination to his insurance on 6/9/2022. Response from insurance company was dated 6/21/22. His first procedure with me was 7/20/2022 and his second procedure was 8/29/22. He completed therapy and never made another appointment. ************ received paperwork about one month prior to starting therapy . Its his insurance NOT mine. He went through surgery two times with the knowledge his insurance was not in network.
