Remodeled our kitchen in 2020 and purchased all ********************* appliances ($8K) from Anchor Appliance. The dishwasher has been a major problem, numerous service calls, a replaced motor within 5 months and now it apparently needs a second motor replacement. At one point I asked for it to be replaced as a lemon! That request was rejected outright. My wife had another local company over to take a look and listen to the the dishwasher - never touched it or turned a s**** He suggested another new motor. When she called Anchor to get a service call she was RUDELY told sorry, someone else has serviced the machine. We explained it was never touched, just listened to. Put on long hold and ended ** in a rather unpleasant discussion which resulted in a grudgingly scheduled service call which we will be cancelling. Put in a call to my salesman who has never bothered to return the call. Don't know what has happened to this business but it has certainly lost its customer service orientation. Sadly will never go back to them for any future appliance sales or service.

Needed to replace our appliances (dishwasher, microwave/wall oven combo). Doing so we wanted to match our refrigerator (black stainless steel) and same manufacture so they all look alike. They suggested GE profile, but found out all could not be in black stainless. We then went with stainless steel which they said they could get. For some reason the wall oven / microwave combo had to be split up and could not be one unit. They said it wouldn't be any problem they could put in a filler piece which they would come out and measure for in a few weeks. We purchased the dishwasher and it was installed, two weeks later they came out and measured for the mic and wall oven and said it would not fit and they couldn't do it. We now have to search for a wall oven mic combo that will fit ,even with a filler piece. But it will not match the dishwasher which we no longer want,. The dishwasher was purchased with the thought of a matching wall oven and mic combo being put in, which anchor appliance has now told us can't be done. due to that fact we want the dishwasher taken back and a refund because they cannot fulfill their promise. They said they would not refund our money or take back the dishwasher and more or less I got laughed out of the store.

I have purchased many appliances from Anchor, the complaint is they are now refusing to service our refrigerator, after many services calls for the same problem. They say the technician put in his notes that he will not service our unit anymore. When i went in to the store they told me it was because i had someone else service the last time i needed service. The reason for that was they told me to call Kitchen Aid and speak to them about this refrigerator, and i did exactly that. Kitchen Aid sent there technician out to see what was going on and fixed it for a time. Now, this time Anchor Appliance would not come and told me again to call Kitchen Aid, and i had already did. Kitchen Aid called Anchor Appliance and they would not budge and said they will not service this refrigerator. My wife and i are just trying to get someone to show Kitchen Aid that this unit is a lemon. Kitchen Aid are no better at helping us either. For a local business to treat their customers like this is truly sad. we will never buy anything from Anchor Appliance ever again.
