I took my dog in for an emergency visit on July 8, 2022 because she wasn't walking. The team was attenuative and concerned based on her condition. I agreed to the emerg/sick in house *************** chem and the consultation services -radiologist as well as the routine digital radiography that when all said and cost me close to $1000. She was give a shot for inflammation and prescribed some pills. Since, I was charged an New Patient Fee ($85) and was very comfortable with the services they provide, I figured I found a new vet. Spunky continued to get better and rebounded back to her old self. Until, Saturday, July 23rd when she wasn't walking again. I rushed her back to this vet first thing Monday morning. The owner called me around 1:00pm that afternoon to express they would have to complete and conduct the same testing and xray that was done on July 8th. This time they were looking at her uterus for possible infection. I didn't understand why the same xray couldn't be used. I was informed that was the process. Needless to say I declined the $1000 "Process" The owner told me that she had high taxes in *********** and that was the price for using her facility. I surmised that she was in it for the money and paying her taxes. When I went to retrieve my dog I was hit with a $75 office visit fee. I was willing to pay but requested that they provide me a statement of what the owner did so I could share it with her former doctor. The report wasn't ready and because I questioned what the owner claimed she did (examined) my dog. I was meet with hostility to the point where they insisted that they were not RELEASING MY DOG UNTIL I MADE THE $75 PAYMENT. In essence holding her hostage. As the male vet tech stated: If you took your car to the mechanic wouldn't you pay them before they released the car?" To suggest a living thing such as an animal should be treated like a broken car was absolutely horrifying to me. There are plenty of high quality vets. Go somewhere else.

Please read the review carefully. It speaks for itself. Unspayed female with a distended abdomen and owner didn't want to pursue a diagnosis of pyometra. She declined diagnoses of a new issue. We did all we could to convince her.
