AC compressor in my i3 failed TWICE. Now, they want me to pay $9k to have it replaced. Is it too much to ask that their parts are built with any longevity in mind? This is just plain wrong.Review from Marie France D

My BMW X7 car keys got deprogrammed while on a trip in ******. I got my car service while still under warranty- I contacted BMW to get refunded. I was told I should have had the car towed in the *** to avoid the charges. Therefore- I will not be reimbursed. This is so ridiculous and badReview from suzy c

I think that the BMW of *********, ** is ridiculous. They just charged me **$705.81 for a replacement key that costs $497.57 in ******, **. And when I tried to cancel the order 30 minutes after my husband placed it, they wouldn't cancel it; they said the key was already being made! Seriously?!Review from Anthony N

I purchased a 2023 s1000rr . I have 2000 miles on it currently. I baby it and keep it indoors on a stand. It just began leaking oil from output shaft / chain sprocket shaft.I am unbelievable disappointed and abundantly regretful with my choice to choose BMW. I've chosen ***** for the previous decade. I've purchased brand new and driven the Hondas 10's of thousands of miles without any issue whatsoever. Here I am with a $30,000.00 purchase of a brand that claims superior durability. Sadly, completely false. I've done some research and mechanical failure/malfunction is more common than not. Its a terrible problem to have @ 2k miles having paid a premium. I'm assuming it will be covered & repaired or replaced under warranty but, I will be without a motorcycle, (extremely inconvenient) loss of time.( have to trailer transport 2 hours away for services).Worst of all, loss of ****************** in my motorcycle. Extremely damaging to my passion for riding & mental health. To whomever reading this, if you have a brand or brands that have been dependable, do not change for a name, its not worth it financially or in any other wayReview from Majid M

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the recent experience I have had with my BMW vehicle. I own a 328ix 2011 equipped with the N52 engine, and I have encountered a significant issue with the camshaft VANOS system. The problem arose when the camshaft VANOS unit failed the functionality, causing severe engine issues and performance degradation. Upon consulting with a certified BMW technician, I was informed that this issue is not uncommon in N52 engines and is often attributed to a design flaw in the camshaft VANOS system. What troubles me further is the lack of support from BMW regarding the expenses incurred for repairing this issue quote $8000. Despite being a loyal BMW customer and diligently adhering to the recommended maintenance schedule, I find it unacceptable that BMW does not cover the expenses associated with resolving a problem that stems from a known issue with the vehicle's design. The cost of repairing the camshaft VANOS unit has been substantial, and I am deeply disappointed by BMW's unwillingness to take responsibility for this defect. As a customer who values quality and reliability, I expect BMW to stand behind its products and provide adequate support when issues arise, especially ones that are directly related to design flaws. I urge BMW to reconsider its stance on this matter and take appropriate measures to address the camshaft VANOS issue in N52 engines. Providing financial assistance or offering a warranty extension for affected vehicles would demonstrate BMW's commitment to customer satisfaction and uphold its reputation as a reputable automotive manufacturer.Review from Blair G

Bmw of *********************** ******* at ************************************************************************** overcharged me for incompetence and mechanics that seemed to just throw a guess here or there at such a simple solution. I sent this car in for a coolant leak which was repaired for a mere $5000! Once picked up and driven upon 20 miles home from the repair shop.. all seemed ok .. car rode smooth but the ac would not function on the high setting. ONE WEEK later the car gets a MALFUNCTION in powertrain message.. car starts sputtering or misfiring.. something that never happened.. so bmw tells me its under warranty & to send it back . I get it towed back to bmw and they charge me $2000 for a fuel pump .. days after installation the mechanic tells me that did not work .. HE THINKS ITS THE **** INJECTORS.. all 8 needs to be replaced for a whopping total of $8500! Plus $2000 for the fuel pump already installed !! And when asked if he assured this would make my vehicle run perfect he replied Sir I do not know exacting WHAT ?!! I mean this is like a doctor who tells a patient that He thinks hes cutting in the right place .. lets hope for the best I MEAN who operates on vehicles.. charges the prices of a new vehicle and is uncertain about the diagnosis & repair performed??!! This particular company robbed me and I want a refund or a price deduction at least on what I owe now which is $2000 for a $300 fuel pump ! I demand that someone of authority contact me as soon as possible! Upon receiving my car after the ac leak was repaired .. fluid was still in view and in puddles .. something that should of been cleaned upon repair for $5000!! The mechanics at this place are crooks .. untrustworthy.. they take your vehicle.. install parts without verification of the owner .. give you a bill and tell you your problem is still not fixed ! I mean if I send a BMW to BMW how in the world can the certified mechanics there be so aloof? I want a refund in full or a price deduction on my billReview from Warren W

08/15/2022 with ****** miles, I purchased "certified new" 540i xDrive from BMW of ***********, ** 01/09/2023 - at ****** miles, I *******************, as alerted by vehicle for oil change (performed by BMW of ***********, **)-they also performed safety check of vehicle 01/25/2024 - at ****** miles *******************, as alerted by vehicle for oil change (performed by Circle BMW) - as owner, I declined service of "recommended, brake fluid service."Sometime later, I was informed that my front brakes were worn to 0MM, however, there was no notification from the vehicle and the cost of $1469.00.Thats **** miles driven from the safety check, and ************************************************** 17 months. Why did the vehicle did not alert me of this severe issue (metal to metal brakes), either theres an issue with this particular models brakes or I was a allegedly scammed.I contacted BMW ***, they sided with the dealerships, saying my miles (***** over the ****** miles) and that the sensors had worked in the rear brakes.note: I also own a 2014 BMW 328i xDrive (purchased new) with 63k miles and yet to replace brakes and the note the vehicle indicates that the suggested front brake replacement is at ****** miles.Review from Jacqueline S

Title: Extremely Disappointed with BMW Customer Service I recently had the displeasure of dealing with BMWs customer service, and the experience was nothing short of a nightmare. Despite raising a valid concern regarding the quality of the tires on my BMW vehicle, the response was not only dismissive but also reflected a complete lack of empathy.Throughout the process, it became evident that BMW cares more about closing files than addressing genuine customer concerns. The final offer of a meager $400 off a new set of tires felt like a slap in the face, considering the premium price tag associated with their vehicles.Whats more baffling is the false advertising surrounding their tire and wheel package. Despite investing in this supposed added protection, the response to wear and tear on tires with a mere ****** miles was shockingly indifferent. Its disheartening to realize that as a BMW customer, I am merely a number to them. The way they handled my issue makes it clear that the concept of customer satisfaction is nothing more than a marketing gimmick for BMW.I had hoped for a resolution that reflected the luxury brand image they project, but instead, I was met with frustration and disappointment. Based on this appalling customer service experience, Ive made the decision to steer clear of BMW in the future and explore alternatives that genuinely value their customers.Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere for a luxury brand that prioritizes customer satisfaction over profit margins. BMWs customer service is a letdown, and their handling of my concerns has left a lasting negative impression.Review from Shauncy C

I leased a 530i 2023 at BMW in 2022. My brakes have always consistently squeaked. Initially I was told by BMW "the car is new, it just needs to be broken in." I was then told ********************************* all have this problem." More recently last month I moved from GA to NY & have had my car serviced at ******* BMW for this problem. the break pads were replaced. The squeaking isnt as frequent as it was, however my car still squeaks. As a devoted BMW owner for nearly a decade, having owned various models and used multiple loaners, I have never encountered this issue before. I pay an excessive amount for this vehicle, this is a problem I am very disappointed that BMW cannot seem to fix. Given the substantial amount I pay for this vehicle, I am profoundly disappointed that BMW has been unable to resolve this problem.Review from Cemile A

I bought my car as brand new spring of 2022 My car's screen prompted me to do an update. Everything was working perfectly before the update. I initiated it on 12/30/2023 at night, and the update failed, causing issues in my 1 year-old car. I was headed to work at 5 AM the next morning, but the starter failed to start.I had lights and everything seemed fine, it wasn't a battery issue. I called for roadside assistance on New Year's Eve, and they connected me with a tech who, remotely accessed my car's computer and determined that everything had failed,They reached out to ******, where the service was closed, but the sales side was open. I also contacted them, but if my husband hadn't called on 01/02/2024, they wouldn't have known the car was there for service.poor communication between their own departments, even they operate in the same building, I cannot recommend this company ,I previously had a factory problem, and when I sent it for service, I requested a thorough check. However, they did t examine my washer fluid, which was showing low, and didn't reset the update or system, indicated by an exclamation mark.remote control, included in my package, was not working, and they failed to address that.they recommended new tires at ****** miles, which seemed unnecessary. Now, with the old version of updates, my car malfunctioned on New Year's Eve, causing me to lose overtime work with double pay. I also encountered problems with my manager to cancel my work schedule. The car's system displayed a service notice for March, so I requested service, but they insisted it wasn't due until May.There was a discrepancy between the application and the car's notice regarding the service date. Despite purchasing the maintenance package and extended warranty, they didn't provide the complimentary car wash as promised. I did not expect to face issues with a new car, especially considering the factory-issued recall that disrupted my holiday.
