My name is ***********************, In march of 2021 I bought a car from "kellys kars" in Williamstown **. I used all of my savings on this vehicle and paid extra for a warranty. I put down **** cash, and two weeks later I paid an additional *****. Two days after I left with the car the check engine light came on, it was the catalytic converter, ***** (salesman) told me to bring it to his contracted shop. I did, the mechanic told me it was the catalytic converter that he would fix for free because he had just replaced it and wanted to honor his work. This was NOT on the car fax. The windows, air conditioner, starter, and tires all went bad immediately after being in the shop under warranty a total of 11 times! I lost my job over transportation issues, I called ***** again in July when I felt the transmission slip for the first time, he told me I did not know what I was talking about and that his Trans shop would look at it (AC TRANSMISSIONS) He called me after and laughed at me, told me I probably pressed manual shift button. My warranty has since expired and I called him with the same issue, I had a private mechanic come and read my codes which did read trans issue in 1st&2nd gear like I said so i threatened to take legal action. He wanted to "make it right" so I gave him the benefit of the doubt and brought my car to AC shop. Two days later I get a call that it has no codes and nothing wrong. when I picked my car up I immediately went and got it read for codes, it stated information was disabled. I went to confront the 30+yr experienced mechanic, He admitted everything to me. The warranty company would have investigated so he asked ***** what to do, he said clear the codes tell her to pick up the car. This vehicle is a death trap, he disabled info and put my children at risk. 8 months, 12 times in the shop. ***** refuses to take the car for trade or give a refund. It only has additional 10k miles, which half are from driving to shop. He refused to give me warranty report

Paige, we never like to hear any of our customers have issues with their purchases. Unfortunately issues do happen and we try our best to work with customers and the warranty companies to resolve them. the warranty is between the warranty company and the customer, that is how 3rd party warranties work.  Warranty companies will not pay for a covered component unless it fails. In the case of your transmission our mechanic wasnt able to show a failure in the transmission therefore a claim to the warranty company could not be issued. Its in the dealerships and the mechanics shop best interest to work with our customers to get repairs under the warranty fixed. Maintenance and wear items are not covered under most aftermarket warranties. In the 1st 7 months of ownership you drove the car ****** miles. *** warranty was a 6 month  or ***** warranty . *** car now has over a ******* miles.  Kellys Kars has been in business for well over 20 years and we feel that we do our best helping our customers when issues arise.

I am rejecting this response because:

This is falsely information. I have the mechanic on video admitting to putting in the claim with warranty company the 1st time something was wrong and I was still covered. In that total of 7 months I did not have the car 11 times as it was in your mechanic shop. I have video evidence of the mechanic admitting g to clearing my engine codes, I have an appointment Monday to get the car inspected and diagnosed by a licensed mechanic! You sold me this vehicle failing to mention that your mechanic had just put in a new catalytic converter! Why was that not on the car fax that I was presented at time of purchase? I also have multiple customers that have felt with your business over your 20 years in the scamming industry who all seem to have if not exact very similar experiences! Oh yes, when inspecting the dash to see why my check engine light was not on I found the sticker from your auto body repair shop. You are buying savaged vehicles, rigging them with your half mechanics and selling them to people for triple their worth. Thats ok, I am building my paper trail. So help me god I will take Kellys **** down for this, you will be out of business! I am a young mother that worked for everything she has ever had! Two years of stacking extra money, to try and better life for my family with a reliable vehicle. This is very personal! Its not over just the beginning!!
I also requested ALL warranty paperwork since my purchase, its a 3rd party between buyer and mechanic but I have never spoken to them? Received a written document about price and mechanic job? Seems funny to me. I also believe that in the state of NJ you cannot sell a vehicle with over 100k miles with a warranty, this car had 105 when I bought it. Please mail me my requested documentation, its my right!
      Regards,
