***** 658 I bought a 2010 ****** Murano in December 2022 and 6 months later the transmission went bad. I accepted that I bought the car as is, therefore no complaints. I called Precision Transmission who gave me an estimate of $4400.00 and they picked up my car. My car had no problems other than the transmission. It had just passed inspection. When I picked up the car 3 days later the mechanic said I had an engine light on for the 02 sensor, which he would charge another $200.00 to fix. I chose not to due to just spending on the repair of the trans. I went back about 7 months later and they gave me an appointment for 8:00 am. I decided to wait for the car, which turned out to be at 5:00 pm. It took them 1/2 hour to tell me there was a short in the 02 sensor wiring. Now I am suspicious about their work, so I went to another place, and after a detailed diagnosis & $384.97 it was confirmed the 02 sensor that was put in by precision was the problem. I bought a 02 sensor from the ****** dealer they replaced it for $60.00 and the problem was resolved I am completely satisfied with the service from the second auto repair shop. I returned today to Precision who disagreed with my complaint stating I should have gone back to them whom I did not trust any longer. This is not my first experience with this type of auto repair agency, but I am filing this complaint because it has become an abuse since they perceive that the consumer is stupid.
