When I moved in, the back french doors were not secured safely to lock in the bolts to the door at the top and the bottom, so anyone could come and kick in my doors. I let ***** ***** know about this when I moved in on Feb 18th, 2022. Its now April 2023 and the french doors have yet to be fixed. I sent **** multiple e-mails and spoke with him many times about all the damage to the apartment. When I moved in, I had no heat in my apartment & when it was snowing. I had to buy two heaters to heat my place and then paid the electricity bill after that since I had to keep them running. I had a complaint about my kitchen sink not draining and the maintenance/call line person Matt Whatley proceeded to hang up in my face. The sink was fixed several days later. My air conditioner unit was leaking water and the carpet and floor were so wet that I did not need to do a napkin test. I did a towel test and the entire towel was drenched. That also took multiple days to fix. The NM Renter's Hand Guide states correspondence is to be sent to the property manager and they have 7 days to fix the problem or less time (if the conditions are serious). I went to tell **** that the living conditions were unacceptable and he threatened to cancel my lease and kick me out. All I did was ask for my living conditions to be acceptable and I am being punished for it. I wrote a review on ****** and they made me take it down or they would evict me. My lease was up in Feb 2023 and I asked multiple times to sign a new lease and **** refused on many occasions. I asked to speak with the OWNER of the building-******* *******- either he is not being relayed the information, or he simply does not care. JUST THIS MONTH, the toilet backed up into my BATHTUB AND THERE WAS **** in my bathtub. I complained and they raised my rent by $100. It took them 6hrs to get to my one & only toilet. I have only one toilet. I have all e-mails and RECORDINGS OF IT ALL

To continue, the lease states animals can be no more than 30 lbs, The guy next door has a huge german shep. that is more than 30 lbs and barks ALL DAY AND ALL NIGHT long. I have sent a complain to ***** ***** and so has another neighbor. THE DOG IS STILL HERE AND STILL BARKS ALL NIGHT AND ALL DAY. Nothing has been done. I have multiple recordings of the dog, conversations had between me and staff at Alamo Apartments and watch, because I am submitting this complaint, I will get a raise in my rent again or get a eviction notice. They are completely unfair. They raised my rent by $100 but has yet to fix the major problems in my apartment. I try to go to the office and if he sees me coming, he changes the sign to closed and hides in the office with the door closed. I am getting no resolve and I do not think the raise in my rent was appropriate or fair after I was offered a new lease about a month ago. Also have him stating he would give me a new lease on recording. Going to report to everyone. If you look at the website reviews on ******, EVERYONE says the same thing about maintenance for over 4 years now and the problem still exists.

I have lived in Alamo apartments since August of 2021. I moved into my apartment with my front door already being busted along with the living room window having a giant crack in it along with many other issues. I told my landlord immediately and he said he would get someone to fix it but never did. About a month later some mold like substance started growing in the carpet of my front entrance closet along with some other issues, I immediately reported it and once again he said he would fix it but never did. Now it is April and the facility washing machine that I need to use in order to do my laundry has been broken since February and has yet to be fixed even though I and many other residents have complained and demanded that it be fixed. He is charging over $700+ a month for an apartment he can't bother to fix or maintain. When I had forst moved in I went to take a shower and the shower head flew off and cut my arm, he can not be bothered to make sure the place is up to code and his safe for his new residents.

Fist we liked to express our appreciation to the tenant for selecting Alamo Apartments for a place to live.

It is our desire to respond to all repair issues in a timely manner.  Our actions taken to remedy the repair issues outlined by the tenant are scheduled below.

The front door is serviceable and secure.  The crack in the jam has been caulked to reflect a better appearance.  We were aware of the crack in the living room window pane.  The window is serviceable and presents no danger.  We have ordered a complete window unit and it is still on order. The pandemic has caused a delay in the shipment of windows. The window was order in August of 2021 before the current tenant.  When shipped we will replace the complete unit. There are 12 apartments in the building, 10 have laundry rooms in the apartment it self, 2 units do not include this one.  There is a laundry room below in the building that services these 2 apartments pictures attached. The picture taken by the tenant is a storage room, used by the apartment maintenance staff.  The door has been secured.  The tenant has been advised of the laundry location. This laundry room has been and is in good working order.   The damaged carpet is due to a pet issue and is located in the back bedroom doorway.   The damaged carpet was not listed on the check in sheet signed by the tenant and staff at the time of the move inspection.

We strive to meet all maintenance issues and provide a 24-hour maintenance line for any issues during and or after hours.  Again, we would like to express our appreciation for the tenant selecting Alamo Apartments for a place to live.  If there are any unresolved issues, we encourage the tenant to contact management during or after office hours.

        Thank you
