Diamond Repairs gave me a quote of $650 which we agreed on to install and haul away 3 toilets and 2 ceiling fans that we already purchased, Labor only, and put some paneling on a greenhouse that got blown away from strong winds "He purchased the panels". He started to do the toilets then he told my husband he can't do the toilets because they need repairs that is beyond his knowledge. So he told us he will take off $50 for each toilet $150 total as that is what he said they charge to install and haul away toilets. $500 we paid to install 2 fans & put a few panels on. They took 1 toilet away. We had no choice but to accept his $500 price as he was already starting to do the work. We are seniors and we tried to have him lower the price for us as that was a heck of a lot of money just for what he did, He did not budge on the price. After they left we noticed the switch to one of the ceiling fans that he installed did not work anymore, so i wrote to him several times as he never answered me as i found out later he was mad at us for asking for a discount. He said he held his temper and became very rude, I have everything in the text messages for proof. I being the better person I apologized to him so he can come fix what he did, and he blamed my husband, He said my husband was turning on and off the circuit breakers for him as instructed, which had NOTHING to do with not wiring the switch into the fan, It was working before with the light we had there. He said he would come out and never did, Now we have to pay someone to come out and do the job correctly. So please use caution when hiring them. We have so much work we wanted him to do and now we have to hire someone else because or this.They come off as well mannered and knowledgeable but then prove they are NOT!! Thank you!
