Beginning June 1st, I have been battling to have the AC fixed in my apartment. I have submitted multiple maintenance requests, the first three of which apparently resulted in having my AC recharged, only to find out there was a leak in the interior unit (leaking toxic refrigerant to be blown into my apartment, posing potential health risks to myself and my pet). The apartment was consistently 80 degrees or higher, forcing me to take my pet and find alternate housing. I have tried working with the office to resolve this issue, and employees keep leaving their employment with this company. I have been out of the apartment for nearly a month now as temperatures continue to increase and the problem remains unsolved. I should not have to pay rent for an apartment that is uninhabitable.

They took my refund. The property manager will not talk to me. I had no walk through in the begining of getting this apartment. I had no walk through when I left. They charged me for everything they could even though I cleaned that apartment and made it perfect. I have multiple correspondence with this apartment complex. They also did not have an AC in the apartment for three months almost which is recorded and was reported to them in their records. I want my deposit back. They charged me for as much as possible with no resolution to anything. I have more information and more correspondence with them. They went through multiple property managers. The property manager they have now has no license to be an apartment manager. She is retaliating against me because she feels the need to do so and uses her power to fraduantly exploit me. Please make this right if possible. They literally stole my deposit. I cleaned that apartment and made it perfect. I took pictures and have video of the day I walked in to the day I walked out. Nov 2021 to Nov 2022. They charged me 75$ for blinds I asked to be replaced and they never did. I have proof of Nov 13th the blinds are the exact same as when I moved out cause they never fixed anything. They never gave me a pool pass, they also charged me for carpet that was already cleaned, they charged me to clean the carpet then to take the carpet out which also makes no since. Please help me in this and find a resolution.

***** ***** received a deposit refund of $145.76. We charged him $451.74 for carpet replacement and carpet odor treatment because of damages from his animal. He was not charged for carpet cleaning. ***** was charged for blind slat replacements because the blinds were torn and stained due to smoking in the apartment.

A copy of the cleaning and damages form was sent with his deposit refund statement. The charges are valid. We are unable to make any adjustments to his account as the damages were made in the apartment and was not documented on his move in checklist.

The apartment was not left clean, and he was charged in accordance with our policies for what was left dirty and damaged in the apartment.

The issues with his AC were repaired by a vendor while he lived in the apartment.

***** ***** is not due any further monies from Taylor Ranch Apartments

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: ******** is not an animal. He is a trained emotional support animal. He never once pooped or PR’ed in the apartment. Also I do not smoke and cannot smoke because I have a disorder of multiple personality disorder and major anxiety and depression. Which means I cannot smoke, because it would cause me to have panic attacks. I do have this documented on my mental health, and also there is no proof of smoke being in the apartment. There is a document when I first moved in to have the blinds replaced…which they never did they said they didn’t have any…also I have before and after photos of the blinds never being there and then being yellow and moldy when I first stepped into the apartment. I told them about it and they do have it documented. Also. My deposits was 1,100+ and they gave me back 146$ I want my full deposit back, I and another **** ****** cleaned that apartment. I also have a tenant that lives in the apartment complex come over to view the apartment when I first got there his name is ****, and he lived next door on the opposite side of my apartment. I also want to say that there was a 2 month period of time where they did not fix my AC in the middle of the summer…and I had to go to Florida to live with my parents for awhile cause ******** had a heat stroke it was above 100 degrees, they had no fan or AC replacement. It is documented that they failed 3 times to fix it and had to hire a company to come out and fix it…the response of the company is inadequate and presents no evidence of the value of there claim, I had no walk through from the begging of my stay there cause there property manager took a vacation and refused to come back to work and this was fired. At the start a employee handed me the keys on there 3rd day in on the job and said she didn’t know what to do. These complaints are documents with them…the AC, the Blinds, and I also told them the carpet was already damaged at the door step cause they didn’t staple it in. I do have pictures of all this. They are simply neglecting taking reposbility for there actions. I want my refund back cause it’s justified. That carpet was cleaned every week I worked from home. There is zero proof that I “smoked” in the apartment there is no tests…the walls and blinds where yellow from the previous tenant. Which I had told them. Putting the blame on someone because they do not do there due dilligance is injustice. Please make this right and give me back my full refund. You do not have any documentation of “smoke” detected or the carpets being clean cause you never went into the apartment when I first moved in cause your property manager never came back. They can follow this up and see I am not lieing. Ashley, is the new property manager and is well known to not do her job, she has to license to even operate of a property Managment position. I on the other hand carry a real estate license in New Mexico which plays a signficant role cause I know the laws and regulations of moving out. Again please refund my deposits in full. **** ****** is a witness and will tell you the exact same thing I am on move in day that place was yellow and a mess they did absolute nothing after the other tenant moved out and I’m not going to take responsibility for the tenant before me leaving the place a mess with yellow blinds missing blinds and a awful carpet nothing was cleaned me and **** ****** cleaned that entire apartment first day to make it useable. He will also tell you the first day the toilet was full of poop and clogged which on the first day I had to get them to come over and clean the toilet. The water there is not useable and it’s cloudy…and many have complained about that too. **** ******’s number is *************

      Regards,

      ***** *****
