I hired mr Carlos M******* for a job on 7-8-21 paid him in full deposit $1050.00 balance $2460.00 on 7-30-2021 he deducted 250.00 for fireplace job to be completed in 3days left on 7-30-21 he stated he will come back to correct tile issues and add corners I sent him severals text messages and phone calls promised to return on September 10th to date he is not responding to phone calls and text messages, the job he delivered looks like it was done by a 2 year old child, see supporting pictures and receipts . Job is hazardous uneven sharp floor , tile has sharp edges window crooked I will have to hire someone else to come and remove tiles and install properly. I am requesting a refund of $900.00 and also his workers broke the heater control in the bathroom. I hired Mr. Carlos M******* on 7-8-2021 to tile a bathroom floor and walls and instal tiles on a fireplace and also to open up a window between the water closet and the bath tub, the agreement was for $2100.00 and the job to start on 7-21-2021 to be completed in 3 days (see supporting agreement and documentation.) He did not start job on the 21st, he started on 7-22 worked only partial days he stated job completed on 7-30-2021 I explained the job is not satisfactory I hired a professional to instal the tiles and the job he gave me was terrible a 2 year old could have done better, the tiles are crooked, the medicine cabinet cut out are too wide, the electrical box cuts are too big the tile edges are sharp the floor tiles are uneven and sharp a child walking on the floor can cut their toes. That’s a potential hazard, the window frame is crooked, he got angry and told me there is always a problem at the end. I wanted to avoid any kind of confrontation I paid him in full with the agreement he was going to order corners and come back to make the adjustments and instal corners, to date September 21st I have made several calls and text messages (see documentations) he decided not to comply no answer on phone calls and text messages he finally answered and promise to complete the job on September 10th to date September 21st no show no text he wanted more money which I paid him a total of $2460.00 he deducted $250.00 for the fireplace that he was charging $300.00 labor he did not work on the fireplace at all, after so many promises no action, at this rate I have to hire someone else to come and knock off the tiles that was installed improperly, purchase new tiles reinstal tiles purchase corners edges and instal, his workers broke the heater switch, I had to buy a switch $17.00 and the $50.00 he kept from the fireplace installation payment.
