The biggest issue was that Poulin had changed the placement of where the solar panels were going to be and didn't inform us nor ask us if we were ok with that. The other part of that problem is that we have a pitched metal roof and we replaced the section of roof where the solar panels were originally going to go. So, installation day came and Poulin is installing them on a different area of the roof. My husband and I discussed with Poulin this issue and came to the decision that we would keep the solar panels on the new area (since they already drilled holes in the roof) and when we replace the roof Poulin would pay for the solar panels to be removed and reinstall them. Poulin said they would give us a letter stating this. All I got was an email stating this with no signatures nor on company letterhead. I called Poulin to let them know this is unacceptable and requested that they actually type a letter on company letterhead and physically sign it. I've called countless time for this letter and have never received it. One of the other issues is that our electrical box needed to be upgraded to support the solar panels. This was supposed to happen on the same day as the solar panel installation and that didn't happen. But the bigger problem was that they messed up so many things with our electrical box. We're having our house remodeled and our contractor took a look at it and said things are on a 30 when they should be split into two 15s. One of our bedrooms didn't have a breaker to shut the power off to it and we had to shut off the entire power system to shut off the power to that room. Poulin also didn't patch up the wall when they were done and electrical wires were exposed and everything was mislabeled in the electrical box. I called Poulin since we're still under warranty to fix these electrical issues and they never called back. Thank goodness our contractor was able to fix all these issues.

I would be happy to provide you an additional letter standing behind our commitment to remove and reinstall the solar array if and when you need to replace the roof. We recently used Poulin Design Center to remodel two bathrooms in our home. What a disaster! The project manager said it would take one week, the installer said they gave him two weeks and the job took three months! Missing hardware, an installer that was unskilled in plumbing work and unskilled in creating the specified arched niches, and poor quality products. We wrote a letter on compliant directly to *** Poulin expressing our disappointment and received no reply from either him or anyone in the organization yet they sent Customer Satisfaction Survey. What a joke!

We just ask for your patience as it takes time dealing with the warranty claims departments of some of our manufacturers. Deflection on Poulins part. There are no manufacturer warranty issues involved. Our issue is with Poulins shoddy workmanship and lack of communication and/or action.

I recently used Poulin Design Services recently for a complete re-do of my kitchen and flooring. They installed new water-proof laminate in the living room, kitchen, dining room and hallway. And then - installed new cabinets and countertops. I can't say enough about the person assigned to my project. *********************** was a *** to work with. He let me know every day what the plan was - when he would arrive and what work was scheduled that day. He was very efficient, precise in measuring the layout of the installation, cleaning after sawing baseboards and crown molding, sweeping and picking up tools. My kitchen is just beautiful! The flooring people were also wonderful to work with! Everyone at Poulin that I worked with was responsive, caring, and took care of questions I had along the way as soon as possible. I intend to use Poulin for bathroom updates and carpeting in the future. And I hope that *************************, ****'s supervisor who went above and beyond with resolving a few wrinkles - and **** will be working on future projects with me!

I would like to begin this review of the Poulin Design Center here in *********** with a gracious thank you to ************************, and ***** for giving my wife and myself a beautifully remodeled master bathroom. *****, our design consultant, was well versed in the various options available to us. She made valuable suggestions in maximizing the utilization of the space available and the renditions that were presented to us made it easier for us to visualize the finished product. The design team *****, and *****, verified and reverified every measurement to insure a seamless installation. ******, our installer, along with ***** met with us prior to the start of the project to explain in detail what we were to expect during the six weeks of the remodel. I can't say enough good things about ******. He treated the remodel like it was his own master bath. He is a perfectionist, paying attention to the most minute detail. He would often ask either my wife or myself to review the progress made that day and ask if we had any questions. The whole Poulin team were excellent in communicating at every step in the process. I would highly recommend the Poulin Design Center if you are considering any type of remodel.
