I went to Omnisleep for a sleep study. I had my first visit on 1/18/2024 via Zoom. The company was in my network, so I went with them. After my visit, I was told I needed to do an at-home study for $132.68 or an in-office study for $675.00. I went with the in-home and said I did not have the money for the in-office. I paid the 132.68 upfront. After the results came back, they said I had to do an in-office study before they could diagnose me. I told them, again, I didn't have the money to pay that out of pocket, and that was the last time we talked. After that, I started to get bills in the mail, which now total $313.55. I called my insurance company to see what was happening, so they broke down their contract agreement with Omnisleep. Then, my wife went down to Omnisleep to see what was going on. They told me that it was because of my deductible. So she then asked why we were not informed of the prices, and they said it was not their responsibility to give us the price and that we needed to look them up for ourselves. The treatment plan was on the portal, which I was never informed of or signed. They knew before I did the treatment what I would be charged and never once told me. I would have declined the treatment if I had known. This company knowingly gave me a false amount just to lock me in the cost. They never once went over the cost of anything. All they said was 132.68 which I paid. They then tried to say that I knew of this because of the 132.68 that I paid. That just because I paid the only amount ever discussed, that somehow was an agreement to pay all surprise deductible fees that were never stated until after my appointments were done.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:
That fact still remains that when price was discussed the amount that was quoted was not the amount the office knew ahead of time i would pay. If the correct amount was states I would have rejected the service. Also I informed them the equipment was faulty during the study and that was not even considered with the results that showed a outcome in thier favor. This I understand my not be illegal practice it is however very unethical. And since they will not work with me on the price or even admit that they did any wrong doing I have reported the company to the New Mexico ******* ***** and will continue to reach out to orangzaition informing them about the practice of this company.

      Regards,
