      My wife do and I came into Tewa motel located at 5715 central Ave NE ABQ NM 87108 June 2023. Noticed bedbugs bites March 2023 still currently fighting issue with no A .C , business license expired, bedbug infestation, and trash being picked up. Reported several times to 311. Vince from environmental health did an inspection many code violations on his part. Now the owner said he's raising rent to 80 a night. We have stomach issues and seeking Dr appts for it. Had to purchase OTC creams for bites. Sleeping on air mattress for now. Because the "new mattress" he offered has bedbugs as well. We do owe 375.00 but currently holding rent until we get bedbugs and a.c fixed! No business license active is wild. I do have plenty more photos documenting everything. And I'm seeking legal advice now.

      I'm sorry but this also has very important details about what has happened in the past 15 days or so. Because we have paid some portions of rent NOT all even though Amir was in a verbal agreement which is on video not charging us any more rent June 30th. These are all facts of what has and has not happened.

      Hi, sorry for the photo but we did rip it up because we refused to sign anything. Yesterday evening we seen a bounty hunter here and he said he was looking for a ****** to serve this person a warrant . We explained to him we have been here over a year there is no ****** here. He Thanked us and left. Then this evening, he again shows up as we are moving some stuff. Knocks and attempted to serve us with this notice for a '******* ******' in the amount of 1,491.00 first of all we been here over a year and have been dealing with bedbugs bugs etc.... for room #**. Check the complaints at 311 for this motel. If you add it up 75.00/night for 20 nights = 1,500? That means this person would have to have been here with us for the past 20 days? . We have choose to hold rent and are allowed to until he agrees to relocate us or refund us for bedbugs. Along with no business license etc.... But Amir was in agreement with it because of his violations etc..... Please I hope someone will hear us out. Please anyone who can give us and allow us access to room 20 until August 2nd so I can gather more evidence for my attorney. I don't know how or what to do or how to go about this, but all I'm asking for is to please allow us access up until August 2nd the day the city gave Amir to fix things. Thank you for all your help!       On July 4 I purchased a room here at the tewa motel and we came in and they never gave us a key to the room, so everytime we leave I got to ask to be let in to something we should have a key to so we would fell safe and our stuff wouldn't get stolen. The t.v. never worked and the room was cleaned very well. We moved the bed and dress around so we could feel the air coming out of the ac and when we did that we realized that the never move furniture in this place. Five dirty socks from previous people that have rent and it was just black under the dresser. The wall were gross. The floor wasn't mopped at all. Inside the dresser drawers were full of ashes. No trash can in the room. The door knob to the bathroom was coming off and almost fell off so we screwed it on tighter. I asked for a key she told me it was to hard to look for one right now and how that's my problem I will never know. How do I know that if I was to leave after the take my money, oh ya there is no refunds they are going to be up and let us back in. What is stopping them from keeping our money and not letting us back into the room. There is no guarantee! The room cost 75 dollars and she is rude and she doesn't rent rooms out properly. We stayed in 25. I was going to speak with the manager about all of this in the morning in hopes it would resolve some of the issues I am having. The room we got wasn't cleaned at all we both cleaned it from top to bottom because it just wasn't livable at all! Now it's bareable and that's barely. The no t.v makes it suck, sitting in the room in total silence wasn't my idea of a good time. All she told me was the maintenance man wasn't here and if he came back she would tell him but nothing was probably going to happen to night. For the price they are literally scamming people out of there hard earned money and then treating them like **** excuse my language but while doing it and I am sorry is this really how business should be ran! They gave me no receipt as well.

      APPARENTLY, THE CUSTOMER HAPPENS TO BE AN EX-EMPLOYEE.SHE HAS RENTED THE ROOM WITH US AND IS THE ONE WHO HAS LODGED THE COMPLAINT. SHE IS STILL RENTING THE ROOM AND ALL ISSUES HAVE BEEN AMICABLY RESOLVED

      I was staying there until today, couldn't take it really anymore for the amount of money I was being charged. Also I am not a former employee, I used to stay at the hotel like nine years ago but this was the worst I have ever seen the place. People keep knocking on our door and no one even know I was staying there. There are some areas he needs to fix but that is on him. If he doesn't I am sure it will only be a matter of time before his hotel will end up like the bow and arrow. They will force him to do something or they will shut it down. He gave me forty dollars back but I told him that his maid services doesn't even clean the rooms. I just wanted him to be aware. I know things have changed since COVID but the only thing I noticed changed  was that they charge more and give even less in return. Plus the people they rent too know are all on some kind of heroin or blue pill because that's all you smell anytime you go outside. Glad to be gone. Hopefully I won't get my door knocked on randomly at the new hotel I am at because the previous people that lived in my room must have been doing something cause it was like that the entire time I was there. Constantly knocking. The people don't care. All the care is where they can buy there next fix, hit... Ect. Thank you but that's all I can do . I tried but I don't think he wants to care anymore. I figured he is trying to sell so it won't be his problem anymore.
