      On June 22, 2024, my wife met with a door-to-door salesman from Greenway Albuquerque, License# *******, who came to our house soliciting their pest control services. My wife explained to the salesman multiple times that she was a Buddhist and her faith precluded her from killing any living thing. She was assured by the salesman that they used essential oils that merely repelled the pests. He said he would note her requirements and said he completely understood. She agreed to use their services and reiterated multiple times that no creature should be killed. She signed their agreement that said if we cancelled, we owe $279. That same day a technician came. My wife explained to him that no bugs should be killed, just repelled. He replied I do what they tell me. My wife reiterated again nothing was to be killed. The technician sprayed the house and spread ant granules. When my wife asked the technician why he spread the ant granules and he said no one said anything to him about not using granules. I called the next day and complained to the company that we told them multiple times that nothing was to be killed. They apologized and said the technician didn't know our requirements and would note our requirements for future treatments. Then over the next couple weeks we noticed numerous dead bugs, inside and outside the house. We think they didn't use essential oils as they said but bug spray. I called today to cancel their services. I told them we couldn't trust them to do what they promised. They apologized again and offered to credit us a month. I told them we just wanted to cancel our services. They said we signed an agreement, and they would charge the $279 cancellation fee. I told them I understand that we signed an agreement, but they didn't perform the services agreed to. This is NOT ethical. We signed up in good faith that they understood and respected our needs. I told them I would contact you. Please try to get our money back. Thank you

      Please accept our sincere apology. After reviewing the notes, I can see that your account was noted to only use organic oils to repel and our technician misunderstood the instructions left. It is very rare that customers request less coverage than our typical treatment. However, this does not excuse the fact that we made your wife uncomfortable with our services. We have refunded your cancelation fee and hope that you will consider us for your future pest repellent needs. 

      Thank you for making us aware of this situation. We appreciate customer feedback and also the kind way in which you discussed this unfortunate situation, as you had every reason to be very upset. Thank you again.

      I was told that I would get my 279.00 credited to my bank. They did not credit my bank this money and actually took money out of my account again.
