I got a DWI in February of 2022. I was court ordered to have an interlock device installed on my vehicle. I decided to go with HiTech Interlock for the device. I missed one payment in December so they showed up yesterday 1/15/24 to repossess the device. In the process they cut wiring under my dash and left my vehicle inoperable. I called today to remedy the situation and the employee berated me saying they're legally allowed to leave it in this condition and the rest of the contract is being sent to collections. I finally have the funds to take care of this but this should not be how any business is allowed to treat their customers. I'm left with an inoperable vehicle and no idea how I can get it fixed.
