      So I believed my Ducati motorcycle was being repaired by trucks unique and this individual charged me $200 after having my Ducati motorcycle for 2 days. I had to pay a tow truck to tow it over there and also to pick it up, it was understood that he was going to weld the aluminum where it had a small crack. To my surprise it looks like he smeared JB Weld or some sort of substance on there the bike was started and immediately began to leak not even two seconds later. I contacted the man who worked on it and he basically told me that I was out and not to bother him again. I am so frustrated because I called back several times and he just shoes me away then he says that it’s not trucks unique that he did this as an individual which is totally not right to be working out of a business representing the business taking peoples money and then giving them this outcome. I would like to warn others of the service and any assistance in recovering the $200 that was taken from me without performing a service up to par. I could go by JB Weld myself and smear it on my $15,000 motorcycle if that’s really what I wanted. Please help thank you

      Tell Dear Mr. *****:

      We have investigated your complaint and are appalled by the treatment you received by one of our former employees.

      You requested a repair on your bike because you had a deep crack in the motor’s crank case. In our experience, such defects cannot be repaired at all, much less with a JB weld to the aluminum (the entire crank case must be replaced). Our service writer explained the same to the fabricator/employee that you dealt with, advising that we should not accept the project.

      Apparently, the fabricator/employee decided to attempt the repair “as an individual,” (as you mentioned that he stated) since he’d been advised not to proceed. We had no idea that he moved forward with attempting the repair. The fabricator/employee apparently charged you $200, pocketing $100 for himself as we have an invoice for what we understood to be the diagnostic charge for only $100. He then hid the issue from Trucks Unique and completely stonewalled you, forcing you to have to contact us through the BBB.

      While we had no idea of his actions, we agree that YOU should not be penalized for OUR rogue employee’s actions. The employee has since been terminated and we hope that we can resolve this issue with a $200 gift card and regain your confidence. We sincerely apologize for all the frustration you have gone through.

      This is still u fair if anything $1500 gift card will be fine because of the 3 tows i had to get one was to take it for him to see then take it back then take it away on a tow truck and all time wasted there with trucks unique then he damage the oil tank by strapping deeper into to supposedly feel in the gab better, i feel they should just buy me a new motor but i can agreed on $1500 gift card.

      Dear Mr. *****- your initial complaint resolution explicitly requested $200 in compensation, and we instantly (within the hour of receiving the complaint) agreed you were entitled to $200 compensation. When we did so, you ratcheted your demand up another $1,300. We will simply not be able to accommodate that request.

      Trucks Unique did not cause the initial damage to the vehicle-by your own account, your vehicle was so badly damaged that it was unsafe and inoperable before it arrived, necessitating that you tow the vehicle to your service provider of choice. Thus, we are not responsible for reimbursing you for the initial tow in for diagnostic evaluation.

      Trucks Unique is not responsible for providing you with compensation for towing your vehicle away from our facility, either. You had a crack deep enough in your crank case that our service provider stated the entire crank case needed to be replaced. We don’t do that type of work at this facility and we would have (and, indeed, did) declined to take on the project, and you would, therefore, have been responsible for paying for the tow away from our facility and to the next service provider of your choice.

      Finally, Trucks Unique is not responsible for providing you with a “new motor.” As noted, your vehicle was inoperable, the crack to the crank case was so deep that the entire crank case must be replaced, no one attempted any type of motor repair, and, nowhere in your complaint (until we offered to compensate you the amount you requested), did you allege that someone at Trucks Unique caused further damage to your vehicle- you simply stated you could have applied the JB weld yourself and so, therefore, should not have been charged $200 for someone else to do it. Finally, your complaint glaringly failed to mention any damage to your oil tank until we offered to reimburse you.

      Thus, while we agree that you should be reimbursed because a rogue employee charged you for unsatisfactory work despite our service writer’s recommendation- we now have serious doubts about your credibility. While we initially gave you the benefit of the doubt and assumed that the rogue employee pocketed $100, we cannot rest on that assumption now. We have an invoice for the service indicating that you only paid $100. We will fully compensate you with $100 upon the condition that you remove what we now view may be a frivolous or exploitive claim and refrain from further defaming our company.

      I HAVE TEXT MESSAGES AND VOICE RECORDING OF YOUR EMPLOYEE WHO YOU ALLOW TO WORK UNDER YOUR BUISNESS (SHOP) ADMITTING TO ALL THE DISASTER HE HAS CAUSE TO MY MOTORCYCLE I WILL POST IT UP HERE SOON THAT EVERYONE CAN SEE ALSO THIS $200 DOLLAR JOB ENDED COSTING ME MORE TO REPAIR THE BIKE NOW I DEMAND JUSTICE ON THIS I HAD CALL THE SO CALL MAIN OWNER OF THE PLACE BEFORE I CONTACT BBB AND YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NO GOOD NEVER DID I GET A CALL BACK FROM NO ONE EVEN MORE THAT I WHEN IN PERSON TALK TO THE FIRST PERSON IN THE FRONT I WILL GET ALL HES COMPLETE NAME AND EXPOSE HIM ALSO HE TOLD ME OWENER WILL CALL ME THAT WAS A LIE TO AS YOU ARE TRYING TO LIE ABOUT THIS ALSO…. YOUR WORKER DID NOT JUST PUT JB WELD HE ALSO WELDED MY MOTORCYCLE AND I HAVE CLEAR VOICE RECORDING ABOUT IT AND MANY MORE PROOF OF IT YOU JUST MEN UP AND DO WAS RITE EITHER GET ME A NEW MOTOR OR JUST PAY WHAT I ASK FOR IF YOU KNEW HE WAS WORKING ON MY MOTORCYCLE WELDING MY CRANK CASE (WHERE THE OIL IS HOLD IN) WHY DIDNT YALL STOP HIM AND WAITED TILL THIS GOT TO THIS POINT??? DO YOU THINK I WAS GONNA ALLOW YOU TO GET AWAY WITH IT??? DONT JUDGE ME FOR MY MEXICAN LOOKS EITHER AS IT WAS OBVIOUSLY DONE WHEN I WHEN IN SEEKING FOR THE OWENER AND HE BETTER STILL CALL ME ABOUT THIS…. IM NO LIER I HAVE PROOF OF WHAT I TALK ABOUT MAKE THINGS RITE. I AM A MEN WITH MONEY AND CAN AFFORD TO GET A EXCELLENT LAWER TO SUE YOU INSTEAD IM HERE TRYING TO MAKE THINGS RITE.
