      Dear Guest,

We totally understand how you feel you were fraudulently  charged, But Sir, as you know based on our non stop conservations back and forth, you yelling and screaming, threating everyone on the property and refusing to take responsibility  of your actions, The Linens in the rooms were damaged. They had rips in them, I unfortunately have failed to get my point across.

I have requested you to file  claim through your banking institution but we both are aware that claim was not fraudulent . We can provide all the needed documents to your credit card company and May we please request you stop calling hotel and yelling at everyone.

Please respect us enough to provide all the information we have requested.

      Best Wishes

      Happy New Year

On August 6 Expedia mistakenly booked me at a hotel in Aztex NM at the Presidential inn & Suites. It was immediately cancelled and they booked me into a hotel in Durango where I was. Expedia told me that the Presidential Inn was the only one who could refund my charge as they were charging a one night penalty fee and offered me a $50 credit to my Expedia account I told them that was not acceptable. I called the Manager and talked to him 3 times at which he said their hotel had no authority to refund the charge only Expedia could. He lied his company charged me for a night that he said he would refund if he could. Documentation which I have included shows it went directly to his company and the hotel booked in Durango where I stayed was directly collected by Expedia. The Manager immediately knew of the mistake as i and Expedia contacted him but kept lying saying he couldn't do the refund and to continue to work with Expedia. I have filed a dispute with my credit card.

      Dear Guest,

We totally understand your concerns but unfortunately this reservation was booked using an third party platform. The third party cancellation rules apply including 24hr cancellation. Also, its totally unethical and unfair to make exceptions for one reservation. We follow the strict policies and guidelines set forth by OTD platform which you must have signed and read when you confirmed the reservation.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because: I had it booked over the phone as I just arrived in Durango that afternoon and the Hotel I had previously booked I cancelled because it was unacceptable being very dirty and a dive.  Through my phone I requested another hotel in Durango be booked instead it was mistakenly booked in New Mexico.  Within 5 minutes of being booked the reservation at the Presidential Suites was cancelled and a hotel ******** ******* hotel was booked.  i called your hotel and told the manager about the mistake and he told me that only Expedia could waiver the penalty because they were the ones to be paid.  I called Expedia they told me no and called your hotel, they informed me that your company would not waive that despite not being my mistake.  I called the Manager at the Presidential suites and he once again said Expedia would be the one charging and he had no control of that which I found out later when I looked at my credit card was a bold face lie!  Therefore I am filing this complaint because your Manager lied to me.  Expedia offered to give me a $50 credit on my account for the mistake which I refused because it was not right and I wanted my card reimbursed for the $144.83 which was within your authority to do but continued to lie to me when I called on the 5, 6, and 7th of August.  To lie to me and not work with Expedia to get reimbursed is not only dishonest but it is a despicable.  Taking advantage of a booking mistake is deplorable knowing full well within 5 minutes it was a mistake on the same day the hotel was booked knowing I was in a different town completely.  Such treatment of a Senior citizen on a fixed income is reprehensible. shame on your company and your manager for lying to me several times.  Do the right thing and reimburse my account immediately.

      Regards,

      ***** *******
