3 years ago I bought a mobile home in Tyler, TX and dealer said if I paid $10,800 down it would keep our monthly payment low so I paid it. My payment is $859.00 and next year they tried to go up to $1,400 per month. After much negotiations they agreed to keep the payment the same but this year they sent me a statement that my payment would be $1,720 per month. I have always made my payments. I am an 84 year old widow and they use the dealer and ***** ********* in Jacksonville, Florida to perpetuate this scheme. I have bought 3 houses in my lifetime and the banks never increased my monthly payment. They sent me a demand letter saying if I didn;t pay $7000 plus other fees they would repossess this mobile home. Please help me keep my monthly payment down to $899 per month and make them put a stop to doubling the monthly payment so they can repossess the mobile home and sell it to someone else using the same scheme. Thank you for your help. ****** *****Business response

To Whom It May Concern:
This is CNB Bank’s written response regarding the Complaint received by our customer ****** *****. We were made aware of ******** concerns regarding her payments increasing and have been working with ***** ********* to get this matter resolved. Unfortunately, the reason the escrow amount was increased is due to an error on the insurance premium made by her insurance company, which is beyond CNB Bank or ***** *********’s control.
Upon review and some discussion between CNB Bank, ***** *********, and **** we have come to an agreement on the steps moving forward to resolve this matter. ***** ********* will provide an updated Escrow Analysis backdated to the date the error was found. Once received, CNB Bank will adjust payment amounts as needed and apply towards the monthly payments due. CNB Bank will also remove late fees related to this issue and request removal of any late payments reported to the Credit Bureaus from August 2023 through the end of February 2024. CNB Bank and ***** ********* will also refund Mrs. ***** of any surplus funds if available after the new analysis has been completed.
On behalf of the Bank, I hope we have helped to resolve the concerns brought to you by Mrs. ***** in this matter. If you need anything else, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
******* ******* *** **** *** *************** ****** ******* ************ *************************
