I have been seen by San Juan Regional Medical Center for a number of years. Every time I have seen them I have asked that all my accounts be consolidated, and added to my payment plan. I have been making payments to them for over a year now of $150 per month per our payment plan agreement. I made a payment on October 1st and they sent me to collections on October 5th. When I spoke with them they told me their system automatically did it, and it was done in error, even though I was current on my payment plan. Their system was also hacked a couple months ago and my social security number was compromised.Business response

San Juan Regional Medical Center has cancelled collections for this customer as this was in error. The second concern was related to a data breech, there is a process in place to help patients that were impacted. We will reach out directly to the patient to ensure that all concerns are appropriately addressed.
