On June 7th, 2023, Star Tech Appliance replaced an evaporative motor in my refrigerator after examination. The refrigerator part was not cooling, but the freezer part worked fine. I was billed for $428.12 and paid the bill over the phone on the same day, June 7th, 2023. Star Tech Appliance was contacted the next day in the morning, June 8th, 2023, to let them know that the problem was not solved. The refrigerator never cooled off and the internal temperature was at 50 degrees. Star Tech Appliance said they would come back on June 9th, 2023 to look at the refrigerator again. Star Tech Appliance was contacted about 3 pm on June 9th inquiring when they would be at the house to look at the refrigerator. Star Tech Appliance stated they would not be showing up to look at the refrigerator that day, yet they never made any kind of contact to let me know. I contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. I was given temporary credit back, but Star Tech Appliance appealed the dispute. I am in the process of re-disputing the charge since Star Tech Appliance never fixed the refrigerator and never showed up as promised to address the issue.Business response

At this point in time, I am going to file a claim against her. We did do all of the work. We had a witness there that saw it. Because the unit has another issue, she would not let me return to see what the other issue was. She just told me that she was cancelling her credit card and hung the phone up on me.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: Star Tech did not show up for the 2nd time, as promised, to finish the repair, nor did they call to notify they were not showing up. The only communications was from me to call them. No contact was made from Star Tech besides request for payment.
