I purchased a 2008 Ford F-150 4x4 from Car Land in 2019. Soon after it had a major issue and the bottom end of the engine had to be replaced. Not too long after in 2020 it started jerking and sputtering. I had them check it out. I was told it was a spark plug wire and it was rigged to work. The problem continued and slowly started progressively getting worse. In June 2021 I took the truck in and was told it was cam phasers they fix a lot of these trucks with this issue. I ended up paying $2300 for the repair. It did not fix the problem. I took the vehicle in 2 more times for this issue. Leaving me without a vehicle for weeks at a time. The last time I took ot in I was told they did an oil pressure test and the pump was bad and now I needed a new engine. Which would cost me $6100 for a remanufactured engine I reluctantly agreed. At the time I was told they would roll it into my existing finance loan and would probably be 60 to 80 dollars a month more. I was without my truck for over a month. When they called to say it was done I was told that it would be given back to me as a high interest loan. Causing my payment to jump from $465 a month to over $1000 a month. It is currently at their shop and I do not know how to proceed. I have contacted ******** ******* in Albuquerque and am awaiting a response. I have not hired him yet. Please help me if you can.
