On 10/21/2023, Dominquez Construction replaced my roof. I showed him the leaks in living room ceiling and rotten boards that came from the crevice where the main roof connects to the porch roof. I also showed him leaks in the kitchen. *** ********* assured me that rotten roof material will be removed and replace with new boards. However, the porch boards were not replaced. Instead boards were placed on top of old existing boards (looks like siding materials), see photo porch. Around March I noticed a leak and mold in the laundry room around the water heater pipe connection to the ceiling. I paid $9009.32 for roof replacement; an amount that exceeding *** ********* original quote of $5000+. Subsequence, I have made several requests for an itemized bill, which I got no response. The crew rushed completing roofing replacement in 1 1/2 day. After being treated for respiratory issues and rashes, my provider (see *** *** Letter) got the ****** ** ************* ****** ****) to inspect my house in July 2023. OEH concluded mold growth and leaks in the laundry room as well as other issues related to air quality (see *** Report). On 10/24/2023, ** *********l assessment also concluded mold and need for an overall replacement of ventilation system. In March 2024, ********** ************ ******** assessment concluded that my house was contaminated by mold which will require a full replacement of walls, flooring and roof. They told me it was not safe for me to stay in my house and I am looking for emergency shelter. On 1/18/2024, I delivered a letter to your company. I did not get any response. On 3/18/2024, I called Dominques Construction and spoke with the individual who oversaw my roof replacement. His demeaner was unprofessional (cussing) stating he performed a good job that those who claimed job was not done right “probably just want more money from you.” Again, I left message for *** ********* to call be back. There is no response. In order to keep the mold from blowing in through the air and heat ducts, I covered all vents plastic (see pictures). I continue to live in my house without heat and unsafe condition while I move stuff out. I looked forward to my retirement in March 2023, however I have been living in harsh conditions and cold weather with no heat threatening my health and quality of life. I will be homeless soon when I move out of the house.
