Dealer has failed to submit payoff to original lien holder despite having sold car. I am still being contacted by the original lien holder to which they keep asking for a payment to be submitted. I have attempted to contact the dealership with this issue, at attempted contacts they remain unavailable or lie and say that it will be submitted. I have had multiple three way calls with the dealership and the lien holder to which the dealership has requested an updated pay off amount and never submitted.Initial Complaint

I bought a new 2022 nissan altima on 1/13/22 and never got license plate for 14 months ,Kept going to see if Plate is in ,but getting the same old story that Nissan Manufactoing has not sent MSO to them .Santa Fe MVD told corleys not to issue another h temporary sticker and were told to pay off the bill off $28,430.24 or get him a license plate Gave Debra M**** the vehicle back on 4//13/23 they said that they would pay off the vehicle, which they never. did , and Debra M**** showed me a zero copy off the check which never cleared , I want Debra M**** to pay off the vehicle like a supposed to, I am frustrated with the manager Debra M****, I want this to be resolved as soon as possible . My vehicle, 2015 Nissan Rogue, has been in the service/shop at Ed Corley Nissan for more than 2 months and 2 weeks, almost 11 weeks. I've lost all hopes, faiths, and trust in Ed Corley. I would like to get a full refund I've paid and to release my vehicle. I've aited thru 5 holidays, and my son's birthday on Christmas. I am tired of walking to work and back in the cold winter, snowy, raining, and windy days. They are not cooperating with me. Poor customer service, poor communications, and being ignored by the upper management. See attached dosuments. Please get my vehicle and my money.Initial Complaint

I traded in a vehicle here at Ed Corely Nissan in Gallup, NM July 22, 2022. I was told a payoff for the vehicle would be sent in 30 days. No effort to send a check to Nissan Motor Finance has been made. I've been trying to get this taken care of because Nissan Finance is holding me responsible for the late payments and now its been reported to the credit agencies as late payment and ruined my credit score. I've left messages for the manager and Nissan Finance has contacted them also to get the payoff sent, we are being ignored and no calls returned. Can you please help resolve this issue. On October 30, 2021 we purchased a 2017 Titan Nissan crew cab 4x4 platinum truck from Carrite used car lot. On November 30, 2021 we asked for our licensed plate. We have not received our license plate yet. We are going on ten months now with no license plate. We have constantly asked car rite / Nissan Corley for our license plate. On June 23, 2022 Corley Nissan in Gallup got involved. Car rite told us we have to deal with Nissan Corley. On the week of June 20, 2022 I talked with Andrew C*****, asking him where is the license plate, he said he will look in the back, he will call DMV, and call me back, he never did. I had to continue to call, he finally told me to call Corley Nissan I called Nissan, I talked to Helen G******* she said Andrew C***** has not called her back. Since June 23, 2022 I was determined to call weekly. The week of July 11, 2022 Helen said, that Mrs C***** from Nissan Corley got a hold of the bank West Lake and got the title, then the week of July 18th, Helen said Westlake the bank overnighted the paperwork, during the same week I called again, Helen said nothing came in, but they have the tracking number, called on the week of the 25th, nothing still, August 1, 2022 still nothing! Like I said, this has been going on for ten months. To my understanding carrite finally paid off the bank for the truck, so we need them to register the vehicle so we can get a license plate???? I purchased a used vehicle 2020 Versa on August of 2021 and I still have received my license plate, they kept telling me they have not received the Title it's almost one year and the car is not registered to MVD. We purchased a used 2018 Nissan Sentra back in October 2021. With a 1,000 down. To this day, we have not receive our permanent license plate yet. We are from Beclabito about 100 miles from Gallup. So, when the temporary license expires we make a trip to Gallup to obtain the temporary paper license plate again. We been doing this the last 5 months. This is behind ridiculous and frustrated at our end. But yet, when they ask for update on the Nissan car insurance while we are having a hard time getting the permanent license plate. I about to return the vehicle back to where we purchased. Not sure what going on with the dealership.Business response

Although there is absolutely no excuse for the untimeliness, after looking into the matter, we experienced a discrepancy with the title that is now resolved. I want to make sure all my customers receive the best service so I will be personally handling this for you. I am working diligently to have a plate for you by the third week of April. I assure you that you will receive your plate this month, please let me know if there is anything else I can do to indemnify your inconvenience. I traded in my vehicle for a new vehicle in July 2020 and to this date the old car is still showing up on my credit history, I have contacted the dealership several times and have been assured that they would complete the payout but this has not happened for several months. My last credit report shows that the vehicle is now behind on payments. I spoke to Caroline credit manager and Irvin J**** and have had no resolution, i explained to them i am trying to buy a new home and now they have wrecked my credit score.Business response

Although there is absolutely no excuse for the untimeliness, after looking into the matter, due to unforeseen circumstances the administration office caused a tardy payoff. I can assure you that the vehicle was paid off on March 18th, 2022. Alongside this letter I have drafted a letter for you to send to the lienholder of your trade, on your behalf and I will do everything in my power to get the derogatory marks regarding this loan off of your bureau. I over extend my apologies and I want to thank you for being a valued customer.
