      We were staying at the homestead RV Park for 8 months for work ,and last month right before rent was due on March 31st we called Mark D***** and asked him how much was it for two more weeks he said it would be better to pay by the month it's cheaper , when I dropped off the money order the camp host told me we only owed $179 a week I told him we decided to pay by the month neither Mark or the camp host said the rent had gone up . we were not given any kind of notice. on the first of April when I dropped off the money order I paid the rent I gave them $475.as it's been Then on the 13th of April we were ready to leave job ended, moving out we didn't have to stay the whole month so we asked mark if we could get any of our money back we only stood 2 weeks, he said no, that we actually owe him $15 because the rent went up in April but we were never given a written notice or a verbal notice of the rent going up in April when I gave them the money order for the rent on April 1st they took it and never said the rent was higher and I owe them more money only when we asked for some of our money back he came up with the rent went up story, he gave us $45 and technically he owed us $117 at 179 per week. I would like him to be honest and give us the money he owes us because he did not give us any kind of notice that the rent went up they never knocked on my door and said I owe them more money on the 1st of April and according to them the rent went up on the 1st of April I spoke to them March 31st to find out how much it was for 2 weeks he could have told me then that rent had gone up but he didn't.

      I'm sorry Mr **** lost his job. I am sorry I didn't send out a letter indicating that the rent had gone up $15 per month. You dropped it off in the after hours slot and we didn't have a chance to visit with you concerning the increase. The weekly rent has been $200 per week for the last 2 years, it was never $179, I ***'t know where that number came from. I charged you for 2 weeks @ $225 per week, which is the rate. I refunded *** $50, which is more than it should have been. If I went back to the OLD rate and charged you for 2 weeks @$200 per week, it would come out to $400. I would owe you another $25. I will be happy to refund you $25 if you take off the bad google review & the BBB complaint.

      You stayed with me for several years and had no problem with me until you lost your job, again I am sorry that happened but I had nothing to do with that.

      I am not a dishonest person as you indicated on the post, nor does it have anything to do with me being the Mayor of Kirtland, (not Kirkland as written in the post.)

      I am rejecting this response because: ****** did not lose his job that's why we called asked how much it was for 2 more weeks, and that is   totally irrelevant to the matter at hand,  if you would have read the complaint correctly or get help reading it, I don't know where you're getting your information. I got my information from your camp host I did not drop it off overnight I dropped it off at 11 a.m. before the rent was due at 12: 00 when your Camp Host opened the office he then called me and said we only owe $179 per week  and  that I gave him too much . I told him I went ahead and paid for the entire month 475 at that point he did not say the rent has gone up . We were there 13 days you had plenty of time to call or come to our space and tell us the rent has gone up. You only said the rent went up because we asked for some of our money back you also said it's cheaper to pay by the month but that's not true either.  You did not give us $50 that is another untruth you gave us $45 your whole your total response to the complaint is untrue you can keep the money I was just hoping you would be honest.

      I've had a sign on my counter top for 12 years,  that reads, "I do not give refunds or pro rate rent." Since you stayed with me so long I thought I would be nice and give you a refund. So much for being nice. I don't even know what else to say other than I'm sorry for whatever I did to offend you.
