Home was purchased from Red Cliff in May of 2020 and included a 1 year, bumper to bumper, home warranty. Home purchase price was $223,000. Throughout the year Red Cliff serviced multiple complaints on the home, including 2 dead hot water heaters, window sealing problems, paint and wall repair, etc. Towards the end of the first year Red Cliff insisted on putting together a "big list" of repairs and promised resolution, even after the warranty period expired. Their explanation to not getting the repairs done within the first year was that "as long as the issues were reported within the year, they would work to resolve those problems." I have emails and documentation showing that they promised to resolve certain issues, including stucco repair. After several months in the fall of 2021 of providing us the run around we gave up on seeking resolution. We also contacted a lawyer but was discouraged in filing any suit because the lawyer insisted the cost of legal action would out way any additional repairs. Now, a year after, and we're taking on additional problems with the home. Once again, window seal issues have troubled us due to the excessive rains this summer. The stucco repair was never taken care of, as well as a long list of other repairs. We're now having to take some of these issues up with our home owner's policy. This home is 2 years old and the rain damage is excessive, the overall quality of the home has been substandard and Red Cliff never met their obligations laid out in the contract during the first year after the home was built.Business response

Better Business Bureau:
I have received a response from Red Cliff Homes and an attempt to locate the water leaks has begun. An agreement was signed upon which indicates that all services listed are "courtesy repairs" although the majority of these repairs are still from prior agreements that were made during the warranty period last year. I believe this complaint should remain open until all repairs listed on the attached agreement are completed. As of right now Red Cliff Homes cannot provide a timeframe for repairs, parts, paint, etc. While I do appreciate their willingness to come out in a timely manner and begin this process to resolution, due to their history in not completing previous repairs in the past I will remain skeptical.
