I recently hired Southwest Coating, LLC to repair the rock wall around my property. The owner, Mr. ***** ********************, did not follow through with the written contract and tried to use sloppy materials and workmanship. I gave him half of the contract cost up-front with the understanding that I would pay him the other half upon completion of the job. I caught him diluting the concrete sealer (instructions on container say not to dilute) and not using the amount of sealer needed to finish the job. He became upset when I pointed this out to him and left saying I could keep my money and that he "didn't need my money". He has apparently decided not to honor his contract and complete the job by sealing the concrete properly. His workers often did not show up on time, or did not show up at all and he did not clean up the area as promised in the contract. Additionally, Mr. ******************** kept asking for more up-front money because as he stated the job was costing him more than expected. I gave him $1300 up-front. A bag of Quikrete only costs about $9 or $10 and he was paying the worker only $400 to do the job. He only brought about 8 bags of Quikrete to the site so he should have had plenty of money left to do the job. I think the person who owns Southwest Coating (***** ********************) is nothing but a conman. Apparently, several others agree as his website has only very negative reviews.

The cheap man pays twice with this guy. Read complaints, they are all true. After a month of fixing my roof with a coating and charging an extra $900 for soft spots being present home inspector found many issues and the same soft spots that were supposed to be fixed still present. Over spray everywhere including windows, ground, neighbors house, trees near home, painted lightbulbs for outdoor lights and ring cameras. I spent multiple days going around my home with a razor blade trying to remove paint from all windows and doors. When painting doors they kept them closed so they were stuck to the frame and paint peeled away when opened. Per contract it was agreed upon to do two coats, primed, pressure washed, and fixed cracks. Was only painted with one coat, cracks still showed through paint, and the exterior was pressure washed but wasnt painted until 3 days after being pressure washed. After walking around home there were many unpainted areas and the cracks were filled in with crack filler but it did nothing. We discussed him coming back to fix the cracks nothing ever happened.

When I contracted with Southwest Coatings, LLC to recoat my roof I was a little skeptical because of some of the company's reviews but ***** assured me that I would be pleased with the final product and as promised he did a wonderful job! He even went above and beyond to fix issues that he found that we had not agreed to at no extra charge.He and his crew are hard workers. He was there every day, on time, and stayed each day until each stage was complete. ***** kept me in the loop everyday letting me know what they had done, how long it would take for each coat to cure, when he could come in to replace my worn out skylights and even repaired soft spots in the roof where water was not draining out fast enough, widening the drainage are so water would not set on the roof any longer.Thank you, *****! I will hire you again soon because there are other projects here that need to be done and I trust you.************

Horrible owner does cocaine pays his workers terrible and pays them under the table. Takes a lot of shortcuts as soon as he gets last check he leaves job as is even if not done completely

He gave me a quote to paint my house and fencing. Seemed to do a good job initially. He knew I was looking to have some landscape work done. Claimed to be a general contractor. Subcontracted to someone he vouched for who wound up being incompetent. Started a 4 week job in August of 2022. Had to fire when still half complete and rarely showing up at the end of October. Business owner claimed he was not aware the person was both incompetent and unreliable. Paint has started to come off fence walls and have found lots of unpainted areas. Paint peeling off doors. He had done my roof as well. Now I am worried about the quality and have to have it checked by someone else. Multiple promises to return to touch up and finish the work without anything actually being done. Was paid in a separate contract to finish painting house exterior and gates and metal top of fencing. Took 50% deposit, made multiple promises to do the work then told me he would not be completing the work. Asked repeatedly for a refund of my deposit. Was told he was bringing my money back multiple times. Was told his wife would send it back cashapp. Never got my money back from him. Have filed a dispute with my bank, don't give him cash or checks, you will have no recourse other than law suit. Trying to find him in ********** license database. Haven't found him yet but will be filing a complaint here and with the state.

***** was quick to give us an estimate on repainting our kitchen and bathroom cabinets. His price was fair and he was very informed on the process and answered all our questions. I was nervous how the finished product would look,Ive heard horror stories about repainting cabinets and the other companies Id spoken to were unwilling to tackle the project. He scheduled us quickly and his team got to work. They finished much faster then expected and we were very impressed with the detail and professionalism. ***** went above and beyond our agreement and didnt take a nickel from us until the job was done and I declared I LOVED IT! After 30 years of wear and tear The kitchen and bathrooms look brand new and youd never know that wasnt the original cabinetry. Thank you southwest coating, Ill be referring you to all our friends and family.

I had ***** repaint my house with ******************************* Duration paint. He first repaired all the stucco, then pressured washed the whole exterior, primed everything and then put two coats of Duration paint to finish. He did an excellent job. My house is 32 years old and has never been painted this well, and I doubt, ever primed. His contract was straight forward, he said it would take a week, and it took exactly one week. I also had him remove and replace clay **** tile, which had crumbling mortar, with cement tile and paint that. He made a separate contract for that work, and with both contracts, his price was exactly what he quoted initially. I think ***** of Southwest Coating and his helper, ****, are both honest and easy to work with, and kept me appraised of their progress as the work was done.
