BLUF facts: One night stay, April 1, 2023. Family of three (2 parents, 1 infant (10 mo. old)). 2 Transactions (husband's card $88.60, wife's card $140.72). Business committed to provide a hospitable overnight stay free of minimal interruptions. The nature of the dispute is the lack of customer service, and issue resolution from the front desk and management. Initially, we had to wait to check in with others - we were told the "system was down" (this was April 1, around 4 PM). This was not a major problem. During play at the casino, one of the Table games (Automated Roulette) was disabled in the middle of the husband's play (this was April 1, around 10:22 PM). This too was not a major problem, staff refunded the last bet, and funds deposited in the machine (just lost time). Just prior to the table going offline - one casino patron was excessively drunk, and partially interrupted play. This too was not a major problem - casino security was courteous and quickly relocated the patron. Lastly, at 2:49 AM 2 children were running in the stairs and proceeded to bang on our door (prank) and ran away. This startled the wife, woke the 10 mo. old, resulting in the husband reporting it to the front desk. There was no follow up or resolution. Our room was 539, (in a heavily trafficked area), we heard various loud patrons, some drunk passing by throughout the night. This was not a major problem - more of an inconvenience. Nonetheless, we tried to follow up with the front desk in the morning, the two workers stated the manager was not available (would be in later in the afternoon). Husband left his number, and was told the manager would call that day. That did not happen. Family of 3 left, checking out around 11:00 AM, trying to get infant extra sleep before departure. Security helpful, we turned in a lost wallet found in one of the arcades (with money), shortly after 11:00 AM on April 2, and they researched the camera footage for us. Restaurant service great.

We arrived at 4 pm meanwhile check in was at 3 pm. We were told our room needed to be cleaned and would take no more than an hour. At 7:30 the room was still not ready and we asked how much longer. The night supervisor made a phone call and stated to the person on the phone she didn’t want to deal with us and she would tell us the room had a maintenance issue. We were then placed in a room on a floor that was closed and had the carpet shampooed. The carpet was still very damp and caused me to slip. My glasses broke. We were told to speak with the daytime manager at 11 am, which at that time was the managers lunch hour.

I purchased a hotel room for arrival January 15, depart January 16. The room was deceptively described as luxury. In reality I was charged $327 for a worn and outdated room. The carpet was stained and not vacuumed, The bedside lights did not work. The bathroom sink was plugged. The bathtub had no drain plug. When I checked out the front desk agent admitted the rooms are in need of renovation which has begun on the other side of the hotel. She told me the supervisor would review my complaint. I never heard from the supervisor.
