On 1/28/23 I went to the Subway Store at **** ******** **** ** with a coupon from the Subway app. The store owner would not honor the coupon. He stated that he did not have to except the coupon. This is very poor customer service. Everyone should take their business to a different Subway store or another restaurant all together.Business response

we are unfortunately unable to help this man. i tried to talk to him on the phone and explain that we do in fact take all valid coupons that subway does issue. he was trying to use a coupon from a 3rd party location that we have no way of scanning or using. I did apologize for the confusion and said we could proceed if he could provide us with a valid coupon. he was insistent that we HAD to take this coupon. Any valid coupon would be able to scan or be used online. This man then proceeded to yell at our employees and as a result made one of them cry. This particular employee was very good and has sense dropped her availability because of the experience. The next day a person from the corporate office then called him offered him a free sandwich at another location to which he refused. Both Subway Corporate and our individual shop went out of our way to try and help this person.
