I visited the dealer on October 22 to look at the Purple Plum 2018 Challenger. I was helped by ***** *******, I informed him that I was looking to make the same payments I already had with my truck since its a year newer than the vehicle I was purchasing, which should be no more than 499. I explained that it was not a need just a car I liked and if it fit my budget then great if not its okay because I did not want to waste his time. David who not only was very unproffesional taking me inside to ask me details on my trade in, taking my truck for a test drive and then leaving me sitting in his desk area for about 30 + mins with no follow up or any kind of information telling me I will be running your credit or talking to bank. He only asked me to verify if my name and address were okay and then signed. While I waiting there I decided to go outside with my nephew and girlfriend to look at the car, at no moment did I turn on the car or even get to have the key in my possession. After waiting there feeling a little stupid just waiting he came out with an offer and my payments would be 680 to 780 a month. I informed him that was too much for my budget and he started telling me all the reasons my truck had little value, I explained that I knew a fair amount about cars and that I was okay thank you. When I drove off I got a call from ******* Personal cell phone saying, "hey do you have the key for the challenger" I can hear the rest of the customers in the lobby with him and other staff. I told him "No I never had access to the key", he then said " well that's funny because the security camera saw you taking it from my desk when you went to look at the car" I said no worries I am coming back because it is ashamed I was being accused of stealing a key. Like what? Why would I do that? I returned and asked to speak to a manager. A lady who was in the first door at the right side of the hall way stated she was one of the managers. See Attached Page
