      On 6/8/23 purchased Toyota Highlander. 7/1 while in Phoenix front end fell off while driving. 7/10 spoke w/GM-*******&Mgr-*** agreed on 70/30 split for repairs. 7/17 estimate done&they had car 7/21-8/24 when we got the car they did not do the work shown on estimate. Fog light was replaced&glued the bumper into place. GM said they would get clips/bolts and "just be done w/it already" I explained to him I travel a lot and was taking a trip to Arizona the next day&he assured us it wasn't going anywhere. Also, windshield was cracked&taillight has moisture in it, this happened while in their possession. Mgr ****** said they would fix it,I am still waiting he never followed through. 8/28 in Phoenix car starts shaking,making loud noise, brakes not working&almost rear ended a car. Found a shop had it towed they said whoever did the brakes didn't tighten the bolt&caliper got loose scraping the rim. 8/31 went spoke w/GM I believe they didn't check vehicle prior to sale. After checking paperwork they did indeed replace the front brakes & he gave me his "SincereApology"&said to select a body shop, tell them exactly what is wrong with the front end & they would cover the cost&that Honda will check car for damage from brake incident&said there was no damage but the rim is damaged&the TPS light is ON. I got the estimate from body shop, took to GM, he refused to follow through with his word to fix it. They sold me an unsafe car due to their negligence&made promises that include paying for the front end to get fixed to my satisfaction,fixing the windshield,fixing damage that occurred due to their negligence where the rim is damaged/TPS light on. I am asking that they replace the vehicle with one that is worth the money I am paying. This vehicle gives me anxiety, every time I hear noise I am afraid of what will fall off next, brakes failing are no joke. I believe they sold me a lemon and they were careless in the reconditioning prior to the sale. This car is not worth $30k.

      Hello again. Per our conversation we are willing to fix/replace the front bumper cover only (the structure).

       

      No cosmetic or any other parts of the vehicle not pertaining to the prevention of the bumper falling off will be replaced or repaired.

      I am rejecting this response because:
      As per our conversation on August 31 in person, you told me to find a shop of my choice and to let them know exactly what was wrong with the front end and you would cover the cost, then you refuse to cover that cost.  Also, you said if there was ANY damage due to the brakes FALLING off you would fix that and the rim is damaged and needs to be replaced. Pictures of the damaged rim are attached. 
      I just really want to see a fair resolution. Thank you for your time.
