Before ****** arrived at our business, we struggled both financially and operationally. My father opened our business over two decades ago, and the idea of just working hard and thinking that if we repeat that we would always be successful. This was obviously not always the case. From a financial perspective, their training provided our managers with the necessary tools and expertise to finally enable us to take control of our business and begin moving to profitability. They worked with us on the operations side, they provided a clear plan to help restructure our team, identify UDEs, build Bloodwalls, and create accountability. This in hand helped improve efficiency. This, in turn, allowed us to implement plans for evaluations and incentives, building employee loyalty and job satisfaction. By helping us identify what was actually making us money and helping is figure out if we should be charging more or in some cases if we were charging too much. Overall our experience was a game changer for how we run our business.Review from Jordan L

0 stars possible? just sent us a bill for $18,000 after being around our shop with nobody around for 2 days!!!! One fatso claimed to be a navy seal ????? total scam, in contact with lawyers at the moment and its only just beginning for me. SCAM ALERT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!These reviews are spot on and reflect our experience. ***** talkers, no full disclosure, tricks to cheat a company out of $1000's. Make you feel 1 inch tall for your years of hard work. Scoffs at you for what you want for your company, says you pay too much in taxes but for them to advise you BEFORE any work is done or invoiced for, they expect $6000.00 that day. Weird no invoices are sent out for their "services". Consumer ***************** anyone???????????????????????? Don't take their calls or entertain these "services"Review from Brenda M

DO NOT ENGAGE WITH THEM WHATSOEVER!! We experienced the same as many of the people leaving bad reviews. They will charge YOU thousands of dollars for THEM to come in and try to sell their services. The first guy will open the door for the second guy "analyst" to come in. You'll visit with the "analyst" and before he leaves, he'll bill you for him being there for that one day stating it's some sort of fee to have them come in for one day and analyze your company. A few days later 2-3 other men will come in pretty to tell you the same thing the "analyst" told you. Then they'll leave you with an enormous invoice without them doing anything but just sit there and continue with their sales pitch. They sat and sold us their sales pitch for 7 hours, and we pretty much have to pay them thousands of dollars, plus their hotel, meal and travel for the one day, for us to just sit there and listen to their sales pitch. We benefited nothing and lost thousands. They billed 14 hours when they were only here 7 hours. DO NOT FALL INTO THEIR TRAP.

I just wanted to convey our appreciation for all the work **** did for us during the past couple of months. This not only covers the time he spent at our offices but the many times he picked up the phone for me after he left. He was instrumental in helping us create a new management dashboard to help us track our bids and estimates. This was not a small project and one that will probably be an ongoing labor over the coming months. The real difference maker was ***** ability to help us convey our wants, needs and concerns during the development of the dashboard tool. He also worked with us to help craft an annual budget as well as detailed reporting that would allow us to track our labor costs and project profitability in real time. In the past it would not have been possible to identify a losing project till well after the work was completed. This is the nature of the beast when you are working with work orders and additional change orders. I would have no issue bringing Global Resources back in at some point in the future. That is as long as **** is the one, we would be working with.Review from Mira I

If I had to summarize our experience it would satisfied with the end results. I was a little skeptical at the start but was quickly won over with their professionalism and work ethic. I knew we were in good hands when they started peppering us with serious questions on the first day. I was confident they had prior experience in our industry and that we would not be wasting time getting them up to speed. My only other concern was the overall cost of the engagement but I felt good with the contract we signed and the agreed upon scope of work. In the end they came in right around what they had estimated both in timeline and in overall cost. We did turn them down for some additional services but only because we wanted to focus on the task at hand before we agreed on anymore costs. I may end up updating the review if things change for the worse but as of right now I am feeling pretty confident and I have been able to get them on the phone for follow up questions and or concerns.Review from Jeffrey M

I concur with the other complaints listed here. Global Resources came into our business with promises increase profits by 2:1 margin over investments. Their methods did not produce results, and they instead primarily focused on getting fast higher interest loan for our company so we could pay their high fees and travel expenses. After it became clear that they were not going to produce the lofty projected profit margins they claimed, they swiftly took large amounts of money and left us with debts that we are struggling to pay off. Do NOT allow these people to step foot in your business! Be warned!I also question if the couple positive reviews in this group of testimonials are legitimate. Rather, I suspect that they were "planted" by Global Resources. They will say otherwise, but how would you know it isn't part of the scams that they're "service" is founded on.Review from Timothy H

****** These guys are targeting small Businesses that got EIDL loans. Other than the High fee they charged for their Airline ticket and hotel chargers Plus the hourly rate of 395. Now I'm left with a broken excel sheet that never worked to manage my cash flow. Tried calling the consultant never got back to me. Now I'm paying 760 dollars a week for the loan I took $33000.Global Resources, LLC Response

Global Resources, LLC. is a business consulting firm that provides the owners of small and medium sized businesses with the tools to maximize their profitability all over the U.S. Mr. Alwis executed an agreement to have Global Resources, LLC. provide consulting services for his business. The agreement disclosed the cost of our services. Furthermore, according to their letter of satisfaction he and his wife co-owners of the company indicated that they were “…very satisfied with the progress made…”. Thus, we are very surprised from this review.
