On Dec 10, 2022, I provided $500.00 to Santa Fe Kia as a downpayment/earnest money for an order for a 2023 Kia Sportage Hybrid SX Prestige - Vesta Blue. I was told that they could not put in the order until Monday as their "person" who does this was out until Monday. On Dec 12, 2022, my check was cashed. I assumed they placed the order. However, I have not received any phone call from Santa Fe Kia regarding this order since Dec 10, 2022. I reached out to the salesman in May 2023 - ******** ***** and he stated my car was still with the factory to be built. I reached out again in Sept and the salesman ******** was no longer with Santa Fe Kia. I reached out to the main office number for Santa Fe Kia and was directed to salesman ******** who told me he would look into the status of my order and get back with me. He never returned my call. He had provided his cell # so I called again and left a message requesting an update. He never returned my call. I called the main sales # for Santa Fe Kia and spoke to **** (I believe he is the sales manager). **** said he would look into the status and call me back. He never called back. I called Friday 12/1/2023 and it was too busy for **** or ******** to take my call but I told the person who answered I would be in on Sat and would like my money back. I received no follow up call but on Sat I traveled from Rio Rancho to Santa Fe to request my money back. I was told by **** that no one was available to cut me a check on Sat but he would get it cut on Monday and call me when it was ready to pick up. I called again on Mon and **** was in a meeting but a message would be left to call me back. I need help as I cannot get proper communication and cannot travel daily to check with **** in person to get my money refunded.
