      On October 13, 2019. My wife and I purchased her 40th anniversary ring from Kenny's on the Plaza, for $3,470.00. The ring came with a lifetime warranty. On March 13, 2022, my wife took in two rings, including her anniversary ring, to be resized. At first, Frank A told us it would total $700.00 for the work. After reminding him that we purchased the anniversary ring with a lifetime warranty, Frank A charged us $162.66 for the resizing of the ring that was not purchased there. Frank A gave us an estimate of two to three weeks for completion. On March 27, 2022, I called the store and spoke with Natalie (who told me she doesn't work there anymore) but looked anyway. She said she 'found' one of the rings and would look for the other and promised a call back. She never called me back. On April 3, 2022, my wife and I stopped by Kenny's on the Plaza to pickup my wife's rings. We arrived at 6:30pm and the store was closed. Its advertised hours show they are open until 7:30pm. No satisfaction. I have called the store several times since, they refuse to answer my calls. Today, April 19, 2022, I have registered my complaint with the Santa Fe Police department and will be persuing a legal complaint against Kenny's on the Plaza. Pure fraud. By the way, we live in Utah, not New Mexico. In addition, I am a disabled Vietnam Veteran, which makes it difficult for me to get around. However, none of this will deter us. Being a New Mexico native, this kind of stuff infuriates me. Please use my experience when determing where your next jewelry purchase will be near Santa Fe Plaza. Do not trust this merchant.

      This complain has been resolved. The client had the rings and we gave him a full refund.

      Better Business Bureau:

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

      However, the personnel at Kenny's on the Plaza will never be trusted and I refuse to ever shop there again.  Caveat Emptor.
